Someone came onsite to provide a quote. They never ended up sending me the quote. I called back twice and each time they said they'd get back to me, but never did so

They trick you into using them because they are fast to respond when most plumbers aren’t. But then they are very expensive and I felt taken advantage of. I consulted on them for several plumbing and hvac and sump pump issues. They took my money for a sump pump evaluation but then never followed up with a recommendation. The hvac they took my money for an eval but then wouldn’t take work to repair it since the AC was on the roof. So I had to pay someone else later to do the same inspection and then repair. They fixed the toilet but the fix never stuck, needless to say I did not have them back to fix it again. My garbage disposal and sink had an issue which they traced back to the battery but only told me it was the battery after I paid nearly $400. I felt like they kept trying to up-sell me for every issue with erroneous services but since we just moved into this older home I needed help getting things up and running. In retrospect I realize I was ripped off.

Henry responded to my quote request promptly. I texted him a photo of the gas line that I wanted tied/off removed and he gave me a very reasonable ball park estimate and was even able to come do the work the very same day. I especially appreciated that he made sure to confirm that both my water heater and furnace reignited after he turned the main line back on.

He overcharged me by a lot.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient, but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

His crew was very professional, and Walt met with the city inspector to get their sign-off on the work. I called Cathy about 2 weeks ago to get a rate for someone to come out to take a look at my toilet. She told me they charged $169 for the 1st 30 mins and $169/hr thereafter. However, when I got my bill, I was charged for a truck service fee and a fee for using a rod. She took off the truck fee when I complained but she said that I only asked for rates and not what it would cost when I originally asked for a guy to come out. This strikes me as not being honest about the intent of getting a price. With such an attitude towards service, I cannot recommend them any less.

My husband called yesterday, Feb 6th, saying that we're having problems with plugged drains & pipes.said they'd be out today, but no one came or even called. Don't waste your time.
