Best Repair Toilets in Chicago IL

5 stars for service if you need a licensed plumber. Not all jobs require this level of service.I called RR because they came up first on Google and great ratings. They were responsive, fast and reliable with good follow up, and they do free estimates which I like because, I dont know anything.I got an appt quickly, liked the plumber Grant, he called ahead as agreed, arrived on-time, knowledgeable, capable and efficient, explained things clearly (I learned a lot), fixed the toilet with parts he had, and recommended replacing the faucet instead of fixing. It's a 15 yr old Grohe Ladylux pull-down and the pull out cable was broken. Also, his quote for labor to fix was almost as much as replacement. Next day I bought a Moen pull-down faucet, but before I could call RR back, I got lucky & an architect friend highly recommended an old-school plumber (60 yr old Polish guy) who quoted a much lower price to install ($80 vs. 375). When he came and saw the Grohe, he said they are top quality (esp the old ones) and could last another 20 years, and he would never replace a Grohe with a Moen. Turns out he saves Grohe parts whenever he takes them out, and he had my parts. So I still have the Grohe for $100 including parts.I got lucky. I would recommend Roto Rooter for anyone wanting fast reliable service, and/or needing a free estimate, and/or wanting the security and warranty of a fully licensed plumber.

We noticed a leak under our 20-year-old water heater. Jan analyzed our problem from pictures and sent a repair crew that replaced the old heater. We are very satisfied with their work.

Kuhn Plumbing has been our plumber for years. They are very responsive, getting someone out in a couple of hours (for a non-emergent issue). They gave dispatch updates and Mike arrived at the stated time with mask in place. Since reading our file history of a potentially complicated water heater, they sent one of their more experienced plumbers who fixed it without any difficulty. He also checked with the manufacturer to be sure there wasn't another nuance. Then Mike explained the problem and how to fix it in the future. Professional and friendly throughout. Outstanding service.

Mike and Dan are very knowledgeable and honest! We were having problems with our sump pump . They came explained problem and fixed it quickly. I never recommend people, but I would definitely recommend them!

They were great, from Jenny's cheerful voice on the phone to Geoff's professional and efficient service. We had dropped a wedding ring down the sink. Geoff quickly retrieved it and fixed things so that next time anything falls down the drain it would be easier to get back. And, he had time to install the new faucet that we've been contemplating for months.

The guys Matt had out said he'd be back to fix the shoddy caulking and bring back tools to finish the work on the toilet. They were paid $950 for their work and they never came back. I was in contact with Matt, the owner, for weeks trying to get him or them to come out and finish but each time they never showed up or replied so I'd have to reinitiate the conversation. It's been over a month now and he obviously got paid and will not be back. You can't trust an owner that care this little.

I woke up this morning and I was devastated as I walked down into my basement and noticed that we had standing water on our floors. I wasn't sure who to call. So I went to Google and that's when I reached out to Chicago Water Heater and Pump Specialists. Sam the plumber who came out was extremely professional, prompt, wore PPE and was able to diagnose and resolve our situation quickly. He replaced our sewer pump and corroded metal lid. Prices were fair, work was done the same day, and he even cleaned the area which was a nasty mess. I highly recommend this company and ask for Sam To handle all your plumbing needs.

We replaced two 50 gal gas water heaters that had reached end of life. REI was prompt professional and competitively priced on quality equipment. All around very good experience with their service team of Juan and the owner Donal Reilly. I would recommend them to friends and family.
