Best Repair Frozen Pipes in Chicago IL

I'm usually pretty handy and can tackle minor plumbing work and repairs but when I need a professional I call these guys.

Roto Rooter was the BEST!! They were quick to respond and quick to fix the plumbing problems! I would recommend this company hands down. I will use them again if need be.

I honestly cannot rave enough about my great experience with Rocket Plumbing! My service tech was Jimmy and he was an absolute life saver. Before I even get into the experience, I love the fact that you can track where and how far with an ETA of when the service technician is to arrive (this was a godsend with a newborn at home). Once Jimmy arrived as indicated, he took his calculated time to see where the issue at hand was. My issue, that was thankfully resolved, was a floor drain overflowing. Jimmy was able to identify where the clean out was and cleared out the obstruction. They even have the option of a live camera feed within your pipes to see how extent the damage could be which I completely jumped on for piece of mind (roots, etc.) All I can say is I very likely did the same thing as you when faced with this issue and did a mad dash to Home Depot when the flooding occurred. Simply put, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and call a professional which Jimmy and Rocket Plumbing was for me and my family. You will not be disappointed.

Henry made time to see us on short notice and did an excellent job fixing a punctured pipe. As new homeowners, we really appreciated him walking us through our plumbing system and he gave us some great maintenance tips as well. Great sewer expert. Our condo building needs regular service to our catch basin and drain system, which they normally do for us. We just had a sewer line break and a sinkhole was developing in our yard. Mike and Chris were able to fix quickly. They are very responsive.

Excellent service. Greg is super nice and explained exactly what is causing the problem. Came yesterday and the rodder just wasn’t cutting it he was back this morning at 7:30am to jet our line.

Aidan and Kevin from Apex Plumbing came and helped us out with our water heater issue. They arrived earlier than expected, were very thorough, and explained everything clearly. Best of all the issue was fixed and we had hot water again. Definitely recommend for any plumbing issues you may have!

Called All Star Plumbing & Sewer the morning after Thanksgiving to take a look at our sump pump that was misbehaving. Set-up an appointment for the next day. Mike came and replaced our pump and hydro jetted our main sewer line to the street as it was also blocked. He even solved a problem with our laundry sink that I assumed was just the nature of the sink. Was given options and prices for what could be done along the way and Mike explained what was happening throughout. Easy and friendly to work with. Hope I don't need a plumber again in the near future but if I do I will not hesitate to call them again.

I am blown away by the services performed by Savior Plumbers. I just moved into a new home and had 3 different businesses come to try and identify a gas leak. The issue persisted and I reached out to Savior for another opinion. They called me back within 10 minutes of my inquiry and were able to fit me in next day (on a Saturday.) I was so thankful as we were moving in that Saturday and I was worried for our safety with the gas smell.

Henry showed up and identified TWELVE leaks. He spent SIX HOURS on a Saturday making all the necessary repairs in order to keep us safe. Despite how late it was (9pm when he left,) he was thorough and explained everything in detail so we understood what was going on. He was so kind and even offered us a discounted flat rate instead of charging per leak since there were so many.

He is extremely knowledgeable and also advised on many other plumbing projects that we have. He also installed a new toilet for us to replace one that would not flush and it's perfect and flushes as it should now.

I absolutely cannot recommend them enough. Do not waste your time with anyone else — they can do it all!

Dmitry called immediately about my leaking kitchen faucet; Lenny showed up on time the same day, inspected and explained the issue. They did all the leg work in finding a new replacement faucet, obtaining my approval, and purchasing it. At the second visit, Lenny replaced the faucet and fixed the leak! Grateful for only one service charge even though there were 2 visits. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Honest plumber, the owner actually does the service calls. Could have taken advantage of me to fix my faucet mechanism but didn’t! Asked me to email him a pic of the faucet. He knew exactly what it was and when it was made and what to do….absolutely trust & recommend.

I recently used Avantel Plumbing to install a new water line in my home and they did a fantastic job. They were prompt, courteous, and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would definitely use their services again.

We hired captain rooter to help our family during a winter freeze in February. It was the only plumber who wasn't completely booked, and it appears that was for good reason. Joel and Jesse managed to solve the problem after several days of golden time and causing tremendous damage to the walls and floor to gain access. The entire time we were trying to be upsold to buy water heaters etc which was unwelcome when they were struggling to fix the problem. Due to the huge price tag they quoted our insurance and the other contractors who came to fix the damage to the walls and floors were quite unimpressed with the quality of work. Additionally, after informing them that the work they did caused both our outdoor hoses to stop working Joel gave us a run around and after two scheduled appointments nobody showed up. Steer clear of this business. I shudder when I see one of their trucks knowing that another home owner is probably being taken advantage of.

Jim is one of the great plumbers on the NW-side of Chicago. This is the guy. Call him.
