We had a 50 gallon water heater that died. We were planning on going through Home Depot outsourcing but they said they couldn’t do the project due to space and said the best solution that they could offer was to downsize to a 29.5 gallon tank. We called John and he said not a problem. Came earlier than expected, did the entire project without any issues and they were able to still use a 50 gallon tank. They found an issue with a dryer vent too and they handled it on the spot. Quick, effective, and extremely pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend and plan on using again in the future if something comes up.

I bought an older home in 2020 and have had to do a good amount of plumbing work - since the first job, I've used nobody but Vanguard and I will continue to do so in the future. They have been great at handling all scales of matters - from clearing a kitchen sink drain to replacing a basement's worth of corroded pipes and valves - with promptness, precision, and professionalism. They have routinely identified followup matters that I will want to look into when fixing something else. Both unit water heaters, all the main pipes, and several small fixtures were their work and I have had no problems at all since they completed everything.

Jesus was fast to respond and come out, was able to quickly diagnose the issue, very reasonably priced and overall an extremely friendly person. I would welcome him back to resolve any plumbing issues we have at our home. Thanks!

I will change my rating to 3stars because they had nothing to do with the prices and did complete the job. First time ever using J. Blanton and I would give them 5 stars. I had a nasty backup situation with water coming down through the ceiling on the first floor. I called J. Blanton and they recognized that it was an urgent matter and were able to rearrange their schedule to get someone to my home within a couple of hours. When they arrived they were very professional and able to quickly address the problem. They also didn't go with the more expensive option first and that turned out to be the right call which I appreciated.

The day prior to starting, he took the time to consult with me in person for 3 hours to discuss the entirety of the work that would be performed; not sure there are many contractors whom would even give you 15 minutes of consultation time.

If plumbing was an academic course, Henry would be the professor you'd want at the lectern. He is someone who has a deep understanding and passion about plumbing that even Novice minds when it comes to plumbing (like myself) could follow. His around the clock dedication was impeccable--willing to sacrifice sleep in order to stay and finish well beyond the agreed upon time frame.

I would be remiss if I did not mention his assistant Jamel who was also very instrumental in helping Henry, especially when it came to repairing the leak in the hot water pipe that was in a very difficult and hard to reach position. I truly do appreciate his contributions as well.

Power Plumbing was recommended to us when our normal plumber couldn't fit us in for a clogged toilet. Great service and a reasonable price. You don't get much better than that.

I called for my dad at 8:30am - busted pipe to the outdoor spigot and water was all under his back porch addition. They came when they said they would. Mike and team saved the day. When calling for an estimate the young lady taking my call was very professional. Mike and team showed up within 24 hours and gave an accurate estimate. They were back the following day on time and saved the day. I had a terrible clog in my basement piping. They were able to fix the problem in an hour. I will definitely recommend their services.

Hiring a plumber is nerve-wracking. Would I get a fair price? Would the work be done right or would it just be a quick fix? It's hard to find good people to work with! But wow, John and his team are honest, professional, thorough, and do incredible work. They've helped us with a few projects in our house and are always prompt, communicative, and pleasures to work with.
