Best Plumbing Issue in Chicago IL

Professional, priced well and friendly. We have used Vanguard several times over the past 7 years, always happy with their work. Excellent workmanship, highly recommended.

This time we had a kitchen faucet installed. They take the time to look at everything related and point out issues or potential issues. We had a crack in our garbage disposal that was not leaking yet but eventually would, it was over 14 years old. No hard sell to replace it now but would save labor time. We decided to go ahead and have it replace and they worked hard and fast!

My water heater broke and he came out the next day to replace it. He asked me what my needs were and made some suggestions. He didnt leave until he made sure everything was working properly and he is proud of his work. He also gave me a great price. Ill call him again when I need something.

This company just wants your money and wants to keep coming back to “fix” the issue and charge you more money to make quick fixes, and then when the problem persists, they’ll come back and charge you to make another quick fix. Either they don’t know how to diagnose the root cause of the problem, or they want to keep coming back to milk the problem for all the money they can. Either way, when confronted about it, they got defensive and didn’t try to make it right. Buyer beware. Charged $400 for same day toilet auger and clearing. (Roto rooter will do same service for much less and with a 2 hour turnaround). Then, when the issue came back two days later the came back for no additional charge to auger again but charged $100 parts and labor to change a $40 part that was sitting in their truck. The issue came back again, and by this point it’s clear they don’t want to actually resolve the actual issue, but want to come back and charge parts and labor to “fix” another aspect or to charge the price of a toilet to replace the toilet, when it should have probably been done the first time. I was hoping to use this service for some larger projects I have coming up in the future, but I don’t think First Chicago plumbing is a match. Two stars because they did actually call back and were on time and followed up during the service to explain what they were doing and again after it was done.

I had a great experience with Savior plumbing! To make a long story short, after a terrible smell and seeing water pouring out of my ejector pit, I knew there was a problem that needed to be taken care of right away. I started my search for a plumber, after leaving voicemails for 3 different companies, Savior actually answered their phone! The woman I spoke with was very helpful and empathetic. After explaining my story, she said she needed a few minutes but would definitely get someone out to me that day. Within 10 minutes she had a plumber come out to see me. When Henry showed up, he immediately told me that I needed a new ejector pit and quoted me a reasonable price. He said that he would do his best to be back by 5 with the pump and would have it done. Amazingly, he showed up at 3pm, explained exactly what he was doing and fixed the problem without issue. Henry could have easily pushed me off to the end of the day or the next day, but he made my issue a priority and took care of it. From the first phone call to the moment Henry left, my experience with Savior Plumbing was excellent, and I know exactly who to call if I need a plumber again. Thanks Savior!

CJ Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. I first spoke with Dimetry over the phone to discuss a leaky toilet and a garbage disposal that stopped working. He had a wealth of knowledge that actually enabled me to restart my garbabe disposal and not have to replace it. His team member Lenny, then came out the next day to repair our leaky toilet, and it turned out our toilet's wax ring hadn't been replaced in years, it wasn't even a wax ring, but putty which no one uses any more. He knew exactly what do to and had us up and running in no time. The team is very professional and responsive and real experts in the field. I will be hiring them again. Note: this is regarding a 100+ year old home in evanston.
