What you should expect from Baethke is quality service, at a fair price. I live on the 4th story, above many neighbors I care much about and messing with plumbing is a great way to make a small problem a very very big one. We had to change out an old water heater. I contacted Baethke, and Ron (master plumber) was able to perform the installation and ensure the job was done right. This was a challenging job that required follow-up and John Baethke personally reached out to me to explain in detail the situation and his team's plan to address it.

Having this experience I realize how important doing the job right really is and how little confidence I would have in the job if I had bought a tank on-sale at Home Depot. That follow up could have been a whole mix of people with the potential for damage.

I called Vanguard as our bathroom sink would not unclog. They provided a clear explanation of the solution and cost over the phone. The proposal came digitally (which allows for an e-signature). Their team arrived during the committed time-frame. The two plumbers were courteous, resolved the problem, and did a great job cleaning up.

I was hesitant at first because of the distance between my home in the Western suburbs and where they're located in the city, however, they made it work! I had a sewer line backup last night where dirty water was coming up my basement toilet and running over the brim. The water came up over the brim half hour after I had given up plunging for the previous hour the water that didn't go down, hence my clue as to why the main sewer line was backed up.

I reached out to someone there. The dispatcher gave me a call back immediately. He scheduled a time and told me to expect a call from Mike. Mike gave me a call shortly after and told me he'd be here by the top of the hour. He and his partner, Peter, was 15 minutes early. I appreciated that.

I wanted to learn about what he was doing, as I like learning new things. He didn't mind me standing there and asking questions and did so with a great attitude and a smile. In about an hour or so, he was able to not only rod out space for water to flow to the sewer, but he was able to run a tool down the line to clear the four or five root balls out of the line. He ran a camera to confirm what was down there before removing them and he ran a camera after.

The bill was right, but I've also always understood the perspective of quality and value over quantity, as previous plumbers just rodded the pipe, which is simply a band-aid to cover a bigger issue, whereas Rocket Plumbing provided the quality and value. Along with what I paid, there is a two year warranty to warrant their work in case I need them to come out to resolve the same matter.

No nonsense, identified the issue quickly and fixed quickly. Didn’t try to upsell or add on services. Very good experience.

At first I was leery because they charge by the hour, but he fixed the toilet so quickly and also put a better/upgraded seal so this wouldn’t happen again for a long time. We had a great experience with Rescue Plumbing. Making an appointment is easy because their admin staff are super organized. Both times we were able to get someone to come out within a day. The guys that came and installed our new sump pump were incredibly nice and professional. They emailed us options to fix our problem with price estimates, which made everything really clear and easy. The company was quick to send him back after I wanted him to check on the fix the next day, no charges. He made recommendations on things I could change but didn’t push for any “fixes”. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Had an ejector pump that failed after hours. I called Loves Plumbing and Sewer and John Love (owner which was unbeknownst to me at the time) answered the phone, was patient with my questions, and highly knowledgeable in his responses. John came out early the next morning, fixed the problem and walked me through the work being performed. Thanks John for all the help and will be using you for all of our plumbing and sewer needs going forward.

Greg and his team are great. From scheduling to work performed. I have been very happy. I referred Greg out to a friend and she was also pleased. Greg installed my sump pump and back up pump, bathroom faucet and re-sealed my catch basin in my back yard. Very happy with everything over the years. Highly recommended

DO NOT USE THEM! They overcharge and do work you don't need. Even worse, they don't stand behind their work even though they claim to have a year warranty on their labor. If there is a problem, they come back in and then give you multiple reasons why the work they originally did was needed and done correctly and the problem is something. Of course, they then want to charge you again. In addition, the work they do is poorly executed. The receptionist is totally unhelpful and can be rude. If the cost of the work was higher (the amount of money I lost greater) then I would be seeking a legal resolution.

Outstanding service, on time and early to start work benefitting my schedule. Expensive service charged from ABC plumbing that I got for 500$ less with Circle. A lot of experience with the workers and you can tell its a small business vibe making more of an important focus. Utilized them to install a plumbing cutout for easy access to clearing my plumbing which required them to dig a 9ft hole in my front yard.
