Our main drain clogged Saturday night. Called Sunday morning.Leonard(#1479) was at our house by 10am. He was careful and explained everything. First try did not work. His Supervisor,Bob, came out with the camera. Attempted to clear in different location and success! Bob explained what may need to be done in the future, but there was no pressure. Best money we could have spent, Very pleased made our weekend.

We've been using Vanguard for years now and have always been happy with their service, quality of work, and pricing. Jan and his team have responded to our inquiries for service quickly and we've never felt taken advantage of or like they were just trying to upsell. They're our go-to plumbers for whenever we need them.

The plumbers were responsive and did a great job handling a tricky plumbing issue for us. We were worried but they managed to save the day for us. The plumber showed up on time and gave us a fair price.

Here's my personal opinion and why i think you should consider any other plumbing company besides APEX - Poor care for customer service. They're disrespectful, awful communication, and lie and make false promises of solving the problem.

I hired them to address my low water pressure in my multi-unit building. At the time of estimating the job, I was extra clear that pressure is my underlying problem and gave them as much information as I could. They said they could do the job and solve my problem because it seems like my rising pipes were really old galvanized piping. 2 days later they started and collected half the payment over the phone through credit card. I did not allow them to keep it on file and said I would pay again at the end of the job.

They started and finished 3 days later but I still had little to no water pressure and after getting frustrated that they couldn't solve the problem, one of the plumbers blew up on me and said the contract was complete because all it said was the risers needed to be changed and his job was done and they'd put a LIEN on my house if not paid. Issue was still not resolved and I was out of pocket $10k I find out they charged my credit card and illegally stored my info when I asked not to.

The owner/boss comes the next day and says he'll try to find a solution and all he did was simply walk to the main city pipe and say this is another $30k job because you need to change the main pipe but he'll keep looking for an answer. 2 weeks go by and he never called, and when i called him he accused me of being impatient and rude. When i asked what he came up with in 2 weeks, he said honestly hadn't given it much thought. This whole time my walls are still torn out and I have families living here. They also never provided me the copy to the contract until my last conversation with the owner.

I can understand if it was 1 employee, but the owner himself provided this type of service - which says a lot about the company. Save yourself the trouble, pay a little more and go with any other plumbing company.

Thanks to Chas and Apex Plumbing for installing a new water heater and re-configuring the pipes. Same day service and showed up promptly at the beginning of the appointment window. Explained everything in detail to help me better understand the installation process and how to operate the new appliance.

Dominick was amazing. So helpful, so quick to respond to our call, and very knowledgable. He came out to fix a leak in our faucet, one with which we had multiple problems before. Turns out none of the other plumbers could figure out that it was the entire faucet/hose that was the problem and it was sprouting leaks from everywhere!

I felt like he really helped me understand the issue at hand and the possible solutions and wasn't trying to talk me into something. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this businessman is very selective with his work and very expensive. After the first time he came out to my home which was for an emergency pipe repair in the middle of the night, I called him again to come to my home and give me an estimate and explanation for water collecting around the bottom of my toilet. One he was done inspecting and had told us how much he was going to charge, I told him that my husband and I would have to discuss the issue as his estimate was a lot of money and we were not prepared to make that kind of financial commitment at the time. A couple weeks later, my husband and I found ourselves in another emergency situation as our main sewer line had collapsed and was causing sewage water to back up into our bathtub. He answered the phone and responded that he could not help us at that time and was busy working on another project. I found another company, figured out a way to cover my expenses and did not press the issue. We again had other projects that we needed done after that so I reached out to Mike via text several times. He never had the decency to respond. This to me is extremely poor customer service and a man that is too greedy to take care of his customers. Shame. We had over $8000 worth of plumbing work done. Be cautious with this plumber as he does not take care of his customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I can save a singe customer from the experience I have had over the past month! I had a pipe burst around Christmas and this service came out to defrost my pipes. Since they responded I decided to use them for a rerouting. The plumber was not only late but showed up at 7pm and stayed till midnight rerouting. The plumber had to come back several days later to finish the installation because my contractor had to redo some framing. One of the laundry valves they installed leaked and it took the plumber several days to come out, however the valve was never replaced. Like others have said, the owner is in a meeting, little to no response, and after almost a week of no shows and no communication, a different plumber showed up (after I started to request return of payment) and installed a wash tub hook up that was supposed to be done at the same time as the laundry, as he was leaving I said there is a leak and he told me he had spilled water. Pipe was still leaking about 2 hrs later I called them to come back… the plumber tried to tell me it was “ground water leaking” until I pointed out the leak in the cold water valve they had installed the week prior. This is how they left my new drywall…. I’m praying their work holds up but am skeptical! Please save yourself the headache and heartache! Hopefully their contract holds up if there is any further issue!

They came over to replace the toilet flush valve and to repair leaking shower valves. This is as simple as it gets as far as plumbing goes.
They used no parts and were there less than 2 hours.
They charged $724.15..... RIDICULOUS!
My mother in law got these guys out of a church bulliten, thinking they must be honest.

We had a very bad experience with Ashland Plumbing when Ron came out to connect a refrigerator water line and check a seal on a toilet. At Ron's suggestion we also replaced all of the inner mechanisms in the toilet tank (flappers, valves, et cetera) on two Toto toilets as a preventative maintenance measure. Turns out after connecting the fridge, Ron never turned the water back on. After we figured this out and turned the water back on, we discovered that the connection Ron made leaked. Also, the toilet that was working fine when Ron arrived, was now running non-stop since the replaced the innards. We had him come back out and he charged us for fixing his error with the refrigerator and the toilet. They also charged not just for the time he was here, but for the driving time from their shop. Less than $150 in materials and $900 in labor. When we objected to the fee for the second service trip, they were very argumentative, rude and unaccommodating. Be aware that they will start charging $166/hour when they get in their vehicle and not when they arrive.

Any company that would employ Scott Treiber is totally untrustworthy

Very professional, knew exactly what they were doing. Cleaned up afterwards and left area almost like they were never here.
