Waste of time and a scam.

The website claimed I could get an estimate online, except it doesn't, only scheduling an appointment. The website claims, no-obligation cost estimate today and Straightforward pricing and upfront quotes. Without that option on the form, I tried a more direct approach.

So I tried the phone number, and instead got a run around. In short, this company will not provide an estimate unless you pay to have someone come out, so those two sales pitches found in print are lies. Worse yet, it took me 3 phone calls as they kept passing me to an estimator to call me back, who was never in the office when I called, who did not have a dedicated line nor voicemail to contact directly, and when I finally caught her, gave me this pay-to-play pitch different than the company's website and their own customer support agents claimed was possible.

My job was a basic one: replace a faucet, I would even buy the materials. And they could not give me an estimate for that basic work without me paying to have someone come in my home.

During a pandemic, this kind of on-site and pay-to-play quoting isn't OK. Worse yet, for me to find out this information, I had to chase them.

Update: the company replied, which confirms what I have posted. Yes I did not provide my address, but did provide my zip code. That should be enough for an online estimate. Beware this company!

Another quality plumbing repair by Vanguard! Our fridge water supply line sprung a leak, and after an appliance repair company declined to do the work, we called Vanguard. This was the second time we had engaged Vanguard, and the two-man crew was every bit as courteous, competent and professional this time as it was last time. They were punctual, wore shoe covers inside (and otherwise respected our property), worked diligently to replace the plastic supply line with a copper one, cleaned up after themselves, and performed the work in less time than estimated, saving us money. Plumbers even diagnosed and quickly fixed a small leak in our kitchen sink faucet, which was beyond the scope of the quoted work, and asked, “Anything else?” before leaving. I would not hesitate to use Vanguard again, or to recommend them. Highly professional!!

Greg and his team are great. From scheduling to work performed. I have been very happy. I referred Greg out to a friend and she was also pleased. The first time we used CJ plumbing was during our home build in 2011. Since that time we have continued to use them and they have never disappointed us. They are very courteous, knowledgeable and honest. They are willing to do any job big or small and if there is a way to save some money by providing an alternative solution to a problem they will not hesitate to suggest it. They believe in long-term relationships with their customers which is something you don’t see too often anymore. Good quality work and good quality people. You can’t lose.

Got an appointment withint a couple days. Guys were nice found an issue in about 5 min (sink not vented properly) but kept checking other things to rule out any thing else that might have been causing our issue, and they did find a clog in our main pipe and cleared it. Only complaint was given a 2 hour window and they were about 30 min late outside the window with no warning, but we will definitely call them again if we have another issue.

After our water heater went out, we asked around for recommendations and Drain Works came up. We gave them a call and they were quick to show up. They weren't pushy or rude and the cost seemed reasonable to us so we went ahead and said yes and we don't regret our choice. Highly recommend them!

REI Plumbing has fixed multiple issues in our old home from a simple replacement of a leaky kitchen faucet to what to do with smelly garbage disposal to fixing the bathroom plumbing after a toilet ring went bad. They are punctual and do a great job without charging you excessively. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They've made several good recommendations and don't try to upsell you on things or services you don't need. The service was speedy and they stand behind their jobs. Rates were very reasonable with excellent customer service. This is my go-to plumbing company and would highly recommend to anyone.

These guys are great, William and Joe came out the same day I called and power jetted my main sewer line, they even camered it too for me to make sure everything was cleaned out. Highly recommend these guys!
