Best Fix Sewer Line in Chicago IL
I was thoroughly informed about what options I had to remedy my plumbing issues. The information was clarified easily to me, who does not normally have a clue about these things. Not only was the service done well, but it was timely, and I felt that I could trust the integrity and expertise of all who were involved. I don't think one should fool around when it comes to plumbing. I would highly recommend John Baethke & Son as your go to for all your plumbing Needs. Not only was the plumbing service good, but the overall service - the scheduling, all communications and reminders - was exemplary. I like to see a well run business that focuses upon all the details. This is one of those.

Having just finished my basement, discovering that my main sump pump had died in the evening after most places have closed was very stressful. Though it may not have been a true emergency, Roto-Rooter had a plumber to my door within 90 minutes at 10:00 pm when other plumbers were not able to come out until the following afternoon. The plumber, Kyle (#3269), was very thorough, personable, and took the time to explain how the system works. He also made recommendations to improve my backup system. From my initial conversation with the dispatcher to the completion of the job, I can't remember getting more remarkable customer service. I will not hesitate to call Roto-Rooter in the future.

I've been a customer of Vanguard for almost 10 years, and the projects they've handled in our nearly 100 year old building have all been done expertly and professionally. You can be sure that the quality of work done will last as Jan is a thorough and keen-eyed professional that takes pride in his work - Highly recommended!

First Chicago Plumbing replaced the faucets in two bathrooms and the kitchen and also replaced the diverter in the bathtub. Eugene and the gentleman with him (I don't recall his name) were very professional and very nice. Eugene took the time to explain everything to me and answered any questions I had, even after the job was completed. Eugene even checked on our hot water heater and gave us an estimate to replace it when the time comes (which will likely be in the next few months!) He will definitely be the person I call!! I highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Simple replacement of a kitchen sink pipe. They were on time, clean and quick. The price was over $400 which seems high, but I suppose that’s inflation.

I recently called Plumbers 911 because I was having trouble with my sump pump. They responded very quickly and were very professional. I then contacted them again because my garbage disposal broke. Once again they responded quickly. I highly recommend Plumbers 911!

I have had a very poor experience with this company.
First, they missed their appointment and didn’t give me any notification - they never showed up day of. I was told they would come first thing the following morning but the plumber did not arrive until the afternoon.
I hired them for a simple job of replacing a leaky valve and also replacing a water faucet I had already purchased. Ultimately, I was charged $520 (labor alone) for what I would consider a basic job. The service fee of $120 was not waived or deducted from the final bill.
After the job, I noticed a pool of water below the sink and had to call him back. Even after the second visit, there was still a leak so I had to call him back a 3rd time to finally finish the job.
Lastly, I was supposed to get a quote for installing a disposal but that never came even though I asked for it twice.
Huge waste of time and money.

Company is: Professional, Knowledgeable, and has transparent communications. Felt truly grateful for the honest interactions with Samuel & the staff at Chicago Water Heater & Pump Specialist after a recent basement flooding. Absolutely recommend this company!

After our water heater went out, we asked around for recommendations and Drain Works came up. We gave them a call and they were quick to show up. They weren't pushy or rude and the cost seemed reasonable to us so we went ahead and said yes and we don't regret our choice. Highly recommend them!

Jeff and his team are awesome. Everyone is professional, polite, easily available and thorough. I had two services completed recently. Both turned out great. A good value. Expert service and advice saved me money and time. I will definitely only use The Plumbing Department for my projects! Neil and Gary were exceptional.

The drain in my kitchen sink was very clogged. The drain was fully restored after the plumbers arrived on time, thoroughly explained everything, and performed augering and hydro-jetting. They discovered the cleanout, which was tucked away in the basement behind a wall. Great customer service at a fair price.

Great experience with William & Antoine. Nice, honest guys that stuck with me throughout a few hiccups with parts. Work was done efficiently and correctly. All problems were solved completely and I just wish I had called earlier.

I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

Shoddy workmanship and customer service, you get what you pay for. They will mess something up inevitably and good luck getting them to fix it. They have many company names and several complaints with the BBB. I just wish I would have known that before I used them. BIG MISTAKE!
