Best Bathtub Leak in Chicago IL

Highly recommend Rescue Plumbing. I went downstairs around 5 PM to find the floor covered in water (and it wasn't after a big rain either). I called for an emergency plumber, and Dex arrived a few hours later to save the day. He walked in and immediately knew that my sump pump needed replaced. He and his co-worker -- who I did not catch the name of, apologies! -- were both spectacular. Super helpful, knowledgable, and made me feel I was in good hands. As a new-ish homeowner, Rescue Plumbing is now my go-to! What a relief!

Our sump pump, basically, died after 3 months in a newly built home. They were quick to respond and quickly diagnosed the problem. Most helpful.

We hired Apex to review a problem in our condo-owner-managed, historic, three flat! We had originally thought it was our sump but subsequently figured out it was actually a break in our sewer line! This was a very scary issue for us and Apex kept us informed and on an expeditious schedule the entire time. They worked with us to rod out, jet, camera and ultimately find a break in our main sewer line, where it meets the City's in the street. They helped guide us through the City's PDP process and coordinated the City's review and acceptance of our condo building in the PDP Program. All the guys (Chas, Aiden, someone else I'm forgetting- I'm sorry!) were helpful, responsive, professional and answered all my questions. They ultimately left me, and our condo owners, with a better understanding and knowledge of our historic condo's plumbing and gave us a few tips along the way! Thanks guys! Highly recommend!

Rescue Plumbing is great, and Logan and Djenkis are terrific! I called them with a semi-urgent plumbing issue, and they were able to fit me in right away. They were on time, professional and worked quickly to clear my drain. They patiently explained everything and answered all my questions. I truly appreciate having reliable and honest plumbers and will absolutely use them again. I highly recommend them!

I first used the service of Power Plumbing over 10 years ago. They were recommended by the company who serviced my kitchen cabinets. I had always wanted a dishwasher and had been told by 3 different plumbers that it couldn't be done because of the location of my pipes.
Jason from Power Plumbing came to my home and stated calmly, It can be done. In the 8 years that I had that dishwasher I never had a problem. And so when I decided to upgrade my appliances, I called Power again and requested Jason. Once again Jason installed my new dishwasher with no problem.
Over the past years whenever I have had a plumbing issue I do not hesitate to call Power Plumbing. Each service technician has not only been professional, but courteous and respectful of my home. And that is very important to me.
Although I have never met Rae personally, I feel that she is committed to making sure her customers are satisfied and goes that extra mile to insure that is the final result.
I most definitely recommend this company!

Loga was very professional and thorough. He helped clear an incredibly clogged toilet quickly. The company was responsive and even showed up early! Definitely recommend!

Don’t really take time to write reviews but this company deserves it . Mike was very profesional and answered every single question I had . They gave me a proposal weeks prior and I contacted them 3 weeks after and they picked up the phone on me every single time. Other company’s would not pick up the phone on me and after leaving voicemails never got one call back. If you’re serious about getting a job professionally done these guys are it , no hassles and if they say the job will be done, it will .He had Dan & Don with him as well , they were always respectful and never stopped working , Great guys . These guys did a fantastic job . I would not waste my time with others company’s depending on hope . I had a new septic system installed on the property in which they promised they will have a complete in five days and in which they kept there promise .

The team at Avantel Plumbing recently installed a new backflow preventer in my home and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and left the work area clean. I would definitely use their services again.

I’m not sure where to even begin with this review. Words are not enough to describe what lifesavers Victor and Chooch (sp) were on Christmas weekend when the the pipes from my boiler iced over and broke. I called Victor after picking Plumbing 123 out of a list on yelp for their excellent ratings and because it said they were emergency plumbers. They showed up at my house on the 23rd of December within a couple of hours. Needless to say, they worked tirelessly, diligently and with a sense of humor…which helped immensely, all through the night until about 4 in the morning. They also took the time to look and see whether there were other possible breaks or leaks. Victor even took the time to help me figure out how to shut off the valves on the boiler in an emergency….in case other pipes burst. That same evening unfortunately I discovered another large leak inside the wall this time and once again they showed up in about an hour. When I tell you that their work is perfect I mean it. Victor knows his stuff and is incredibly meticulous about his work. I am truly lucky to have found them and am recommending them to everyone I know. Thank you again guys you made a really bad situation way better.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I can save a singe customer from the experience I have had over the past month! I had a pipe burst around Christmas and this service came out to defrost my pipes. Since they responded I decided to use them for a rerouting. The plumber was not only late but showed up at 7pm and stayed till midnight rerouting. The plumber had to come back several days later to finish the installation because my contractor had to redo some framing. One of the laundry valves they installed leaked and it took the plumber several days to come out, however the valve was never replaced. Like others have said, the owner is in a meeting, little to no response, and after almost a week of no shows and no communication, a different plumber showed up (after I started to request return of payment) and installed a wash tub hook up that was supposed to be done at the same time as the laundry, as he was leaving I said there is a leak and he told me he had spilled water. Pipe was still leaking about 2 hrs later I called them to come back… the plumber tried to tell me it was “ground water leaking” until I pointed out the leak in the cold water valve they had installed the week prior. This is how they left my new drywall…. I’m praying their work holds up but am skeptical! Please save yourself the headache and heartache! Hopefully their contract holds up if there is any further issue!

Stay away. They will take your money!

Ricky is a licensed professional who is down to earth, great attitude and dedicated in getting the job done right. Overall, my family was extremely satisfied with the exceptional service we received in resolving a troublesome plumbing issue with power jetting and we have used MNN in the past for sewer (catch basin) maintenance too and the level of detail I can honestly say is unsurpassed - definitely a go to choice and a wonderful company to work with! :)

I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!
