York control board for heat/AC installation. My old control board burned out. So, I called the Fixture Specialists and got an appointment immediately. The receptionist, Kitty, was super friendly and extremely helpful. She quoted me a fair price over the phone and texted me an appt reminder. Mike and Chris arrived on time. Mike was knowledgeable, proficient, and fast, took pride in his work. He completed the installation and operational test within 20 minutes. My husband isn't an easy man to be impressed by anything or anyone and Mike impressed him with the quality and pride in his work.
So, stop overpaying for your HVAC repairs and give the Fixture Specialists a try. I would most definitely use their service again. Highest recommendation.

I called out a repair technician in July of 2021. He told me the reason my breaker kept tripping was the old unit was defective. The next day a salesman came out. I purchased a SERE 17, which is an upgrade form the older SERE 12. The one I purchased was not in stock when it came time to install, which was only a couple of days later. The installed unit is a SERE 19. Once the new unit was installed and turned on, the breaker tripped! Huh, that is weird. Replaced the breaker and have not had issues since.Now I am unable to get the receipt from the original technician that came out after calling repeatedly. My new more efficient units uses more kilowatt hours than the old SERE 12 did. I have compared the usage to years past from my electric company and I use more energy, even though the summer months were cooler and the winter months warmer. The only change was the AC unit! I have called and had several other technicians out to look at the unit and test and what-not, with no explanations at all. The last time, the guy said he was moving up to the regional manager and he would call me back. That was in November 2022. I have called several times since, still trying to get that receipt that was supposed to be sent to my email account in 2021 and to ask when this manager guy is going to get in touch with me. I am told we will leave a message for him. He has yet to call me.I would steer clear of this company, personally. The ONLY reason I continue to call is to try and get resolution to what they have promised to do without an action to actually keep said promise.The one star review would be a no star if that were an option, just for the company as a whole. The service techs that come out are friendly and understand my frustration with their employer.

The sales tech Ms. WILLIAMS was rude and only interested in selling me a new system I was not interested in purchasing. She started out by telling me how terrible the system I had was and how it should only last 8-10y when I purchased it from RS Andrews. And this was on a system that up to this point has been running perfectly fine. When I told her I was just interested in the tune up I signed up for she stormed out of the house said someone else would take my payment and that it wasn’t worth her time.This is unacceptable behavior from a professional that I let into my home. I will seek out services from a different company moving forward. Thank you.
