Best Furnace Installation in Chesapeake VA

My downstairs AC unit stopped blowing cold and ran constantly. I called them and the receptionist was very friendly and courteous. She was able to set me up with an appointment the same day just a few hours after I called.The technician, Emerson, arrived well within the time frame scheduled, and even called a half hour before he arrived to let me know he was almost here. He was also very friendly and courteous and was cracking jokes with me and had me laughing in no time. Great guy! He was able to figure out what was wrong in less than two minutes, a bad dual duty capacitor. He replaced it, and checked a few more things to ensure that was the only issue and had my house cooling down quickly.I highly recommend Michael & Son and would like to give a shout out again to Emerson for his fast, friendly service and for getting my A/C back up and running quickly! If I ever need A/C service in the future, I will ask for him by name.

After recently purchasing a home, we were having some issues with our AC not keeping up. After 2 diagnostic visits, we were told a piece of our duct work needed to be reattached/repaired. They were able to get us an appointment to have it repaired the next day. Both technicians were honest and very friendly. It was a bit pricey (we were told it’s a flat rate for any duct work done up to 25ft) even as an “elite member”, but we’re confident the work was done correctly and professionally. The technicians were great!

Alex did a fantastic job following up on some previous work that had been done. He corrected the things that were wrong and went beyond that to ensure things that should have been done was completed.

I am trying to respond to your response to my experience, however I could not do it, so here it is. We paid over 7,000 gram in a brand new out side unit back on 2017. Because both units were not replace at the same time I have to spend another 9500 AGAIN!!! Because the unit at the attic burned and messed up the one outside with no way to be fixed and since you guys didn’t recommend to replace both at the same time I was with out heat for 5 days. I had tried to call several times even before the unit got buen however I NEVER FOT A HUMAN BEEN ON YHE PHONE!!! my husband David Williams have left PLANTY !!!! of messages with out NO ONE EVER GETTING BACK TO HIM!!! so I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GUYS TO DO NOTHING FOR NO ONE!!!! since my experience was and has been HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY!!!!

One of their drivers tried to run me off the road. I moved into the fast lane on the highway and he sped up to try and cut me off. If their service is similar to how their techs drive, I'd rather use literally anyone else. Tried calling the office. Apparently, they didn't care either.

Quick and professional service for a plumbing emergency.

I had a problem with NO heat, and have dealt with A-1 before for plumbing and was satisfied, so I called for HVAC help. From the phone call I had professional courteous response. The tech called within 15 minutes, and arrived 15 minutes after that. Jake is his name and made me feel very comfortable. After examining my furnace he recommended a new furnace (mine was 20 yrs used), but got it up and running. As a few days went by it stopped again, Jake returned and we decided on a new furnace. Within 6 hrs. we had heat at a very reasonable price. The tech (Jake B,) went beyond the call and cleaned up the install very professionally and looks 125% better than the last install from the last time from another company (20 years ago). I will recommend this company and Jake B. to others (already have). Thank you A-! American.
