I give this company an A+++ for the recent services they provided. I am extremely impressed with 911 Home Repair Specialists due to their prompt response for a quote, fair price, prompt completion of the work as well as the professional completion of the contracted work. In addition, I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Rod, Josh, Rodney, and coordinating the work schedule with Katie. My home is 36 years old and has had to have some substantial repairs and updates recently. I still have several projects that require attention; and, I will contact 911 Home Repair Specialists first. I have already recommended their services to a friend who wants to sell her house within the next year and needs to have a variety repairs or updates to get her house ready to sell.

We switched over to Shawn and his company for our plumbing needs, and we won’t be calling anyone else! We have called him a few times for various repairs and his response time is always fast, he is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and affordable!

When I called for a leak in my condensation pipe Smith and Keene told me they could NOT send someone out until Monday. BUT, if I want to have someone come out tomorrow (Saturday) they could. However, they would charge me an extra $125.00. Now, I have been paying for this service for years and have never called with a problem. So, for all that they promise the one time I call they want me to hold on for three days and on the fourth they will send someone to deal with my problem. Take what you want from this review, I'm not a happy camper.

The Tech that came out was very knowledgeable about the gas pack that I have. Setting up an appointment was very easy, they came out within a reasonable amount of time. They are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Tony and his Son were very polite, professional, and fair in price. I’m a very detail oriented person as a mechanical engineer so I understand that a quality product still hinges on a quality installation. I watched the entire installation process and I can say without a doubt that their attention to detail including installation and testing were impeccable. I wanted a plumber to do this work, not a “jack of all trades” so to speak.

Zack came and quickly gave a quote. We decided to go with it. Came back, installed in day! Looks great, cool guy, great customer service! Will use again! Thanks Zack!

American Home Shield sent them out to replace my Apollo system water heater. the initial inspection was less than 2 minutes(it had an obvious leak) and they told me I would have to pay $670.00 out of pocket for pipe modifications which is a loop hole they exploit on every AHS water heater contract, without knowing what water heater would go back in. Turns out the same thing went back in but they would even unload the water heater until we paid. I called the company when I was first told about the loop hole scam and asked what the hourly rate was trying to figure out how they justify the expense know if they had to modify every single pipe it would be less than an hour of work, I was told it's a flat rate. that's top notch lawyer kinda of pay. turn out they used shark bite hose couplers(my 1 hour was based on having to solder the four pipes) they did nothing extra to install the water heater that they would not have had to do replace the water heater so a complete rip-off sanctioned by American Home Shield who I called several times begging for help but the refused to do anything even let a more honest company do the install, I even offered to pay a second deductible to help cover the second company, they would let my speak a manager or supervisor to give management a chance to make things right, I'll be doing a separate review if AHS. the only ray of light in this dark endeavor is the guys that did the install were nice but..... the water heater failed inspection because the blocked access to my water shutoff valves. My advice avoid them at all cost, in my opinion if you can't make a business successful honestly you're in the wrong business. I believe the got the contract with AHS by bidding low knowing they could more than make up the difference in their loop hole rip-off scam. If you have AHS and have plumbing problem in Hampton Roads tell them when you call this company is not welcome in your home. Before and after photos provided

My family has been using A B Parker & Son for the past 40 or so years. They installed the heating system and the plumbing in my parents' house, and have been there for them over the years. When I moved out and into my own home, I continued to use their services. A B Parker & Son is a small, locally owned business. Unlike the chain businesses, you get to know them personally and you form a bond with them. But they are still very professional, extremely competent, and resonably priced. This past New Year's Day, I was out of town and a friend called me to tell me that my 90 year old father had no heat. I called Mr. Parker and asked if he could call my father to find out what was going on. My father had heat by the end of the day. A B Parker & Son is the absolute best!!

Rob, Jason, and Tony went over and beyond great service!! Our plumbing job was not an easy task and with their great teamwork and diligence they were able to accomplish a two day task in one day! We had quite a messy job inside our home and they did an outstanding job of cleaning up after! We highly recommend this team!

I have a new construction. They installed everything. About 1.5yrs later a capacitor went out (usually lasts 5 - 10yrs). They came by right away and made it right. Rock on guys.
