Best Repair Project in Charlotte NC

We had our water heater fail and needed to get it replaced. We called for a quote and got a dispatcher that was not able to give us any pricing but said that the plumber would call when he was on his way and would be able to discuss pricing. When the plumber called, he told me that a replacement 40 gallon gas water heater would cost $2,329.00 for just the heater and installation was in additional. To say I was surprised would be an understatement as I can buy a 40 gallon gas water heater at Home Depot or Lowes for less than $600.00. I have no issue with a company making a fair profit, but a markup of almost 400% is beyond egregious and is far above other quotes that I received. This company is simply taking advantage of their customers and I will never call them again.

I called Ritchie Plumbing to ask if they were able to fix a sink that dropped below the granite countertop. I was told by John, that they were busy right now but would try to fit me in the next day. He also stated he would call me back in a few hours once he, figured out his schedule. He verified my phone number and I waited until I would hear back from him. This was around 1:30 pm. Around 8 pm, I texted John asking if they would be able to assist us or if I should find someone else. Let's just say, I'm still waiting for him to call and/or text back. He also stated it would be around $500 which I agreed upon at the time. I would like to say, if this was something this company doesn't fix, then say it at the time. Instead, he decided to lie and keep me from getting something fixed. Not only did his lack of professionalism destroy any confidence in this company that I had obtained through these Google reviews, but I won't ever use them, nor will I ever recommend them to my fellow Realtors. If I was pleased with the results, I was going to use their services for a few other homes my company had purchased to ensure the plumbing was in stellar condition before listing the new homes we aquired. That's not going to happen now. I would not recommend this company due to lack of professionalism. Not only was I left waiting without even the common curtosey of a text back, but this pushed my selling process back, which has now cost me even more money than tha $500 he quoted me.

Now I'm so glad I did not use your services. Nothing you said below is true. You never mentioned once you were in NC, nor did you mention you weren't licensed in SC. All you said was, I'll check my schedule and get back to you in a few hours. It was a nice conversation and I fully expected you to call back. You seemed as if you would help us, but left us hanging. You must have me confused with someone else, because you never said any of that at all. As for the text. If the number you answered the phone on was a cell phone, then you have the text. You may forget my phone saves that sort of stuff.

All you had to do was tell me you weren't licensed in SC, and we would have been done. Neither am I dense or hard of hearing. You never said any of that. Good Day.

Brian worked us into his busy schedule to track down a leak and repair the damaged pipe. He was thoroughly professional, kind and the cost for what he did was entirely fair. We cannot recommend ACC highly enough.

We had a water filtration system put in our home. Last summer my hair turned green from all the chlorine in the water (I don’t have a pool). The crew came out and met with my husband who is in service and sales for a living. He was impressed with how professional the guys were and how they explained the whole system works and how to care for it. Our water tastes amazing, my hair is no longer green, they were on time , professional, and I would highly recommend Presidential Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. They will be back at our house soon to install a gas line as well. It’s not easy to find reliable service guys lately so glad we found Presidential Plumbing.

This was the most honest encounter I have had with an HVAC service company in my twenty three years in Charlotte. The repair that I needed was priced fairly and the tech put in the right amount of time checking out my three units.

This was the second time I've used Plumbing Connection. I had a leak in my water line adjacent to my water meter. The city water department came out and gave me the Clark Griswold Grand Canyon head bob and said it was my responsibility. I called Plumbing Connection on that Monday and they set an appointment between the hours of 1 and 3 PM on Thursday, 10/20/22. Sure enough, Chip showed up within that time frame. How refreshing it is when a company does what it says it's going to do. In our recent experience, that level of service has been tough to come by.

Chip explained the cost up front which I thought was reasonable and what could happen if it turned out not to be a simple repair. Chip was very personable and professional. Good guy. He found the leak almost immediately but had to chop his way through tree roots to get to the line in order to repair it which was also what caused the problem in the first place. He got all those cleared out and in a couple of hours the leak was repaired and the water back on. The cost of the repair turned out to be only a few more dollars than the original estimate.

As stated, it's nice in these times to find dependable service and I think I found it with Plumbing Connection. They'll be my go to for any plumbing needs going forward without a doubt.

Found my local plumber! Very professional and knowledgeable. Found and repaired the issue quickly and at a great price. Didn't try to up sell me. Was in and out and did a great job. Will use from now on.

Couldn't be happier with FSP. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable. I hope to never have a plumbing emergency again but if I do, I know exactly who to call.
