Best New Backflow in Charlotte NC

First time homeowner, big rain and sump pump went out. This was very late on a Saturday night. Super worried about a flooded basement. William and Mr. Rooter came out very quickly, diagnosed the problem, and worked hard to fix it. We are a happy home with a dry basement thanks to Mr. Rooter. Plus, their warranty makes us feel great that our basement will stay dry for a while to come. Will recommend to friends and family!

Plumber arrived at my home within an hour of my initial call after another plumber had put me off for days. Mike was kind and respectful, explained his work in a way I could understand, and allowed us to provide payment and finished his work while we were gone. He then sent a full report via text and email with photos of his work and thanked me for my business. Final bill was exactly the price given at the estimate. I will definitely use Charlotte Plumbing Masters in the future!

Brandon was right on time for the estimate and Jason was the same for install. They communicated what was happening every step of the way. They did a fantastic job of making what was a chaotic, at best, and dangerous at worse, gas and water situation for a condo hot water tank efficient and professional. Jason worked tirelessly the entire time he was here.

We were in need of a toilet repair that was beyond our expertise. I found MKB Plumbing on Angie's List. They were the first to respond to my request for service. To my surprise they said someone could be out in the next hour or so. It was not an emergency situation, but given everything going on in the world, I was happy to have such a timely response. Harry, our technician, was courteous, on time and respectful. He not only fixed the main problem but fixed the minor issues with the toilet also. While at our house, I got him to do some other small projects that we had been procrastinating on like switching out a showerhead that was too hard to remove. I thought the pricing was fair for the amount of time and projects involved. I will definitely have MKB Plumbing on speed dial for our next plumbing needs.

I called Monday & had a technician out Tuesday. Jake Bayer was informative & helpful. He had the issue resolved within an hour!

We had a plumbing issue in our home and called. They were prompt in their arrival and very courteous once on site. The plumber who arrived presented me with the options, explained each one thoroughly, and let me make the choice of what he fixed that day. Everything went according to plan and our plumbing is back to normal now.

What a GREAT company to work with! The agreed upon job was to replace the entire water line in my yard. Upon beginning the digging, they found the leak within a few feet of the water meter. Rather than taking advantage of me, the digger spoke with Mike and suggested that he only replace the leaking piece of the pipe. Saved me a TON of money!

I have worked with this company on hundreds of remodeling projects the past few years. I cannot say enough great things about them. They do pristine work, are honest, dependable, and rarely have warranty issues, as in less than 1 per year. They are consistent and fully worth the cost. Derek, Danielle, and their team are all wonderful!

Excellent overall customer service by Ward Plumbing. Was very impressed by the quality work done by Gary’s (great guy) son Jared & his right hand man, William (aka Chalky). Jared & Chalky not only went above & beyond in regards to the superb skills in dealing with a complex water heater issue but also couldn’t have been more personable, polite, and patient in doing the job the right way. You could tell they obviously care greatly about giving the best possible service at the best possible price. Ward Plumbing is the way to go!!!

UPDATE: Today is April 2nd and the job is still incomplete but much further along and hopefully very close to completion. As I type this there is a gentlemen patching the holes in the sheetrock in the garage. South End did show up the next morning three hours late and completely reworked the whole project. Jacob worked all day and most of the following day to make sure that everything was done correctly. I am very much pleased with Jacob's work and wish he had been sent out the first time. The City Inspector came back out and failed the project again. I haven't heard from Southend Plumbing since...

Original Post:
I hired Southend Plumbing on Jan 6th 2021, today is March 8th 2021 and my job is still incomplete.

1/6: Scheduled to start work between 8am and 2pm. No one showed up or called us. we called them at 1:30 to find out the permit never came in and they would come out the following morning.

1/7: They showed up on time and started digging in my front yard without the lines being marked. 15 minutes in, they cut the main AT&T line for my entire neighborhood. This was a whole other headache that took 6 weeks to resolve. They continued working and replaced the entire water line while i was at work. My wife paid them and they left saying they would be back after an inspector came out and approved the work, so they could complete the job. (See Pictures or poor quality work provided)

1/8: Someone from Southend Plumbing came out i believe the project manager. He poked around took some pictures and left.

1/13: Called Southend Plumbing to check on status of repairs, was told we were waiting on the city to inspect.

2/1: Called Southend Plumbing again to check status of repairs and again was told we were waiting on the city to inspect.

2/2: City Inspector shows up while i am running errands and tells us he will needed to come back out to inspect the inside work done but that southend plumbing had approval to return and bury the water lines. The inspector also informed us that Southend Plumbing didnt file the paperwork for inspection until 2/1. We called Southend to schedule for them to come out and bury the water line on 2/4.

2/4: Southend Plumbing actually called us to reschedule work to 2/9 due to heavy rain.

2/9: Southend Plumbing showed up while we were not there and buried the water line leaving our yard a hot mess.

2/22: Contacted the city about reinspection and was told that Southend plumbing needed to file the correct paperwork for reinspection.

2/26: Called Southend plumbing to find out they have marked our repairs as complete in their system. I asked to speak to a manager about everything and was told that he was out of the office for the weekend but that he would call me first thing 3/1.

3/1: I called southend plumbing after not hearing from the manager to find out he was out of the office and would call me 3/2.

3/2: James from Southend calls me. He tells me he was displeased with all the pictures that i sent him and he would being coming out the next morning with a crew to fix things and schedule the rest of the inspection.

3/3: Southend Crew shows up with Stan(not James) and begins to fix my front yard. Southend never checked out the rest of the job, just the front yard.

3/4: City inspector shows up to reinspect the work. No big surprise to me but it didn't pass inspection. Stan shows back up at my house about 30 minutes after it failed inspection. We discuss the poor quality of work and Stan reassures me that someone will come out and rerun the water line and fix all the code violations. Stan calls me back later that day to let me know that the crew would be out the next morning to fix everything.

3/5: No one shows up. No one calls. NOTHING.

3/8: I called Stan to ask what's going on. He was surprised the job was still not done and informs me that they had scheduled to come out today at 2pm without communicating with me. Guess what no one showed up AGAIN... no one called AGAIN... I called them at 4:30 and asked where they were at and was told they would come out tomorrow morning.

Great to see the boss doing our outside tap. A1 job

Whew! Dustin came out on a Sunday evening at 5pm and stayed until 9pm. He responded to my call immediately! He was thorough in tracking down the problem, and did several checks afterwards to make sure the problem was fixed. I cannot say enough about this honest, reliable guy and I highly recommend him! Pork Chop’s Plumbing customer for life!

Jeff and his partner (sorry...cant remember his name) came to my house to diagnose a tub drain and were very nice. They fixed the problem quickly and were honest in telling me that I didnt need to do more extensive work which I was considering. They were able to fix the problem with only a service call charge. Thankyou to Sneeds Plumbing and I will look for you guys in the future!

Experience is unparalleled and the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Always impress me everytime we use them - couldn’t be happier!

Really helpful and flexible. Hooked up my sink, new faucet, and dealt with a disposal issue caused by the folks I had replace my counter-tops. Did it all while I was out of town having left a key for them. Very polite and professional as could be.

Can’t say enough nice things about Hobbs. I have unfortunately needed random plumbing services for several things over the past few months. Every time I call, they have someone available quickly, keep me informed and return calls quickly. Their teams are friendly, up front and always try to do what’s right for the customer (not just trying to sell more services or products). I feel confident in their service and enjoy their staff. Absolutely recommend them for any work that you need done, no job is too big or too small!

PC Godfrey put in a exhaust system in my business in 2007 and I have not had a problem with my exhaust system at all and it is now 2021!!! That says something all by itself!!!
