Called and left a message on Monday asking to set up an appointment to have 4 new faucets installed and to take a look at a disconnected water supply in the garage. No one has returned my call. Happy to update this review if I receive a response for service!

Excellent company to call when you need any plumbing services. They are fair, on time, courteous, professional and with our needs , did a perfect job in locating our problem and fixing it quickly. Mike and his TEAM are the go to TEAM. 5 stars doesn’t even come close in evaluating their expertise.10 out of 5 for us. Thank you MKB TEAM.

I was extremely pleased to do business with this company. This small business, based in Mint Hill, was very professional in accepting my call, listening to my needs and setting the appointment. They made it super easy by supplying quality commercial grade ADA (a little taller)toilet and all parts, installing and caulking it, and hauling the old one away for a set price. This was a winner for me! Their plumber, Harry, called to let me know he was on the way, arrived on time, neatly installed 2 new toilets, removed and hauled away the old ones in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend MKB Plumbing.

Estimated price was final price. Mike is very personable and friendly. The actual work was done quickly and accurately. The bad: failed to get permit at beginning of work, caused a 3 day job to turn into a 3 month job. This oversight was dumped in our laps to sort out,, with no help from plumbers. Terrible planning. Office has almost no idea of what field personnel are doing. Almost total lack of communication. The concrete patch work, in dug up foundation pad, looked like it was done by a five year old. The final retile we needed to do was subpar, In large part, because of this shoddy concrete patch. Total interaction with these people was frustrating and maddening. Such unprofessional behavior from what could be a great company. Wife is pleased with work, I am not happy, at all, with what we had to put up with, go through and settle with. On top of this delay, they are expecting instant payment. I sent a check out at their first invoice and have received almost daily demands for their money. 3 months for a 3 day job, they can wait on the Post Office for their payment. I would never have these people in my house again. I fear my wife would, however. Terrible outfit to deal with.

We called to report that we had no water. they were here within the day determined that the well which was under the house would be too costly to repair, and time consuming Within 2 days, they had the gas lines marked and we had water..
I was impressed not only by the professionalism and courtesy of the team, but also by their ability to work around 2 very helpful 2 year old Australian shepherds

As an addendum This morning I called at 8 to report that our hot water heater was not working.. Within 15 minutes, Harry was here. He confirmed that the problem was the breaker. Again, I am impressed with the consistent professionalism of the company from the moment I speak with the office to the departure of the plumbing team. I highly recommend the company.

I wish I could give out more stars!!! This is the ONLY plumbing company you need to call. Family owned and operated, they will treat you like family. Always there when you need them.From the moment they answer your call to the end of the job. They handle things with care, efficiently and expediency. Fair, trustworthy, knowledgeable , kind are just a few ways to describe this company.We have used them numerous times on different plumbing issues.

I highly recommend MKB Plumbing & Septic. Mike and his crew did a great job removing and installing a new septic system . Professional, fair pricing, when the work was done they left the yard clean and smooth. I thought it was nice that they seeded the areaand put down straw . We will definitely call them if we need any more work done

MKB came out and unclogged a drain. They couldn't give a price over the phone. When they got here, he didn't even talk about price. Just started working outside on the city pump system. And then only doing 10 minutes of work. Comes in and tells me that its 285 dollars. And said it's a flat fee and he can't go any lower on the price and the best he can do is 250 for 10 minutes of work. And their explanation was that is what everyone else charges and they're the cheapest and that it costs that much because they used a machine. I was never given a quote, nothing. This is absolutely insanity. Do not use this company.

MKB Plumbing did an amazing job! They replaced our well pump! MKB Plumbing are friendly, professional, respectful, timely, and most definitely take pride in their work. I highly recommend MKB Plumbing!

This was our first time using MKB's services and I must say our experience was outstanding. We called, they came, problem solved--very promptly! Chuck was very professional, knowledgeable and pointed things out to us during the repair. Definitely recommend MKB and will use them again. They're real pros for plumbing needs!

Amazing service with accurate pricing. This company was absolutely wonderful. They responded to my call immediately. Did a thorough job along with explaining everything and I could not have been more pleased! I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Harry cam out, diagnosed and fixed our issue with leaky water valves in our laundry room within a few hours. I would not hesitate to use MKB Plumbing again in the future. Great service!

I want to thank the wonderful plumbers at MKB Plumbing for their efficient and great work this week. I also want to thank the owner, Mike, for being a responsible businessman who came out to our home in a crisis last night to fix our water issue. They are a great team of folks and I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for plumbers with integrity and the kind of customer service that I appreciate so very much!

These people are great, and Desiree is an absolute pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to help with an underground leak coming from the city's pipe, and followed up with me the following morning to check on the status (even though this was not a job that MKB had involvement in). To the owners of this business, Desiree deserves a raise, or at least a nice bonus for the holiday season.

Mike and his team are just great.
I found them on Google, gave them a call and with in a few hours they showed up, their follow up and commitment to a completed quality work is like I've never experience before.
MKB is now on speed dial in my phone.

We had them replace all polybutylene pipe with PEX in the house we just purchased, install new toilets, move a gas regulator outside, and replace a kitchen faucet.

The good:
- Price quoted was similar to other companies
- Their office staff and plumbers were pleasant to interact with
- Price paid was same as price quoted
- They rescheduled to another day without issue when the painters' schedule and theirs conflicted
- When the gas regulator move wasn't as straightforward as expected, they went back to the shop, got the extra parts needed, and handled it within the scope of work.
- They finished the majority of the work in one day, with just a few things left on day 2
- The new pipes work!

The bad:
- Office person and lead plumber are out of sync. Originally we got everything scheduled for plumbing, then drywall repair and paint, then move-in, but the office person was assuming a date that didn't actually work, causing them to instead get scheduled in the middle of painting, which forced a plumbing reschedule to after move-in
- All of my hardwood floors in the areas they worked are covered in drywall dust
- They left boot smudges on white stair fronts
- They forgot part of the scope of work (kitchen faucet) until I reminded them
- They used my ladder and shop vacuum without asking -- (I know this is probably a bigger deal to me than it will be to others, and Mike made it right by reimbursing me what I asked to cover damages)
- Siding penetrations for gas line were angled upward and not caulked
- They did not caulk shower mix valves or tub spouts
- They did not properly caulk toilet bases (many gaps)
- They left polybutylene valves under our primary bathroom vanity, which leaked water when I opened them to cut them off myself
- They left puddles of water on top of the moisture barrier in our crawlspace.
- They removed insulation from under the first floor in two spots and did not replace. Same with living room ceiling/primary bath floor. They removed insulation that's currently sitting on my living room floor.

The not quite sure:
- They left one section of polybutylene pipe I wouldn't have known about if I didn't go under the house to check their work. When I asked about it, I was told someone else was coming to take care of that section, but had 6 jobs that day. But they had already sent a list of things they had left after the first day, and that was not included. I'm trying to assume positive intent, but including this here to remind you to check the work your contractors are doing.
- They left a ~10ft section of polybutylene where the primary supply comes under the foundation wall. We discussed this in our initial conversation, but to the foundation wall was not specified in the scope of work.

What a GREAT company to work with! The agreed upon job was to replace the entire water line in my yard. Upon beginning the digging, they found the leak within a few feet of the water meter. Rather than taking advantage of me, the digger spoke with Mike and suggested that he only replace the leaking piece of the pipe. Saved me a TON of money!

Chuck came out today and did a great job with all 3 repairs. He was timely, courteous, and economical. I would recommend this company to others and love that they're local.

Found them on Angie's List and they were here within a couple of hours on a Saturday. They fixed an emergency leak quickly and professionally and the price was great. So happy to have found a plumber!
