Chris and Mary are heroes! I was surprised to see my studio floor soaking wet this morning. Apparently, the master bathroom sink drain pipe in our older home had rusted completely through and all of the water my wife and I had used this morning had seeped through the floor to my studio below! All About the Pipes has been my first call for over a decade, and within an hour of my conversation with Mary, a plumber was on the way. And not just any plumber - all of theirs were on other jobs - so Chris, the owner of All About the Pipes showed up. Within an hour or so he had the P-trap replaced, had a new faucet installed, had cleared the water lines of air and reset our re-circulation system! I know full well that Chris had better things to do, and could have easily just put me on a wait list. But that's just not how they roll. And for that I am very grateful!

Thorough investigation and resolution of our tank less water heater shutting down when rainwater entered the natural gas discharge line. This was only an estimate. The only reason I have not used this service as of yet is simply because I am waiting to receive two more estimates before making a decision. However, Michael was spot on, very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and did not seem to mind answering questions and giving explanations as to the costs involved. Kudos

This company is everything that is wrong with the HVAC industry. They came to our service through First American home warranty, we had to wait 2 weeks for our appointment, then 3 hours before our set time we received a phone call informing us they were running early and on their way to our home. We were out grocery shopping, so we informed them it will be a little while, where we were then informed that if we were not there on their arrival that we would have to reschedule.

The following day, we received the invoice for our out of pocket expenses to be over $2,000 for replacing the Evap coil. Our warranty company was covering the freon, unit, and labor, yet these price gouging, self serving, thinking people don't know anything about their line of work, commission driven individuals, were still billing us for over $2,000. I immediately requested another contractor and was passed to Charlotte Air experts, where they only took 2 days to come out to evaluate, on time, wrote a similar invoice with all the same material I wanted done, for an out of pocket cost of $600. This company might do good work, I do not know, but I would suggest looking elsewhere of you do not have deep pockets.

Their service is good. Only problem is price quoted and actual price ,sometimes does not add up. So a 4 star!
