Caleb Whelden and company from CTW plumbing were employed to service and maintain the heating and air conditioning units at a residence of mine for over a years' time. They consistently had difficulty arranging to complete jobs in a reasonable time frame, and often made mistakes, some relatively minor and merely forgetful (such as forgetting to replace caps on refrigerant lines), other mistakes much for irresponsible and dangerous. Caleb Whelden easily became defensive. He was not conscientious about taking responsibility for the problems and inconveniences caused by his actions. An incredible amount of time and money could have been saved if another maintenance team was hired earlier on.

All 5 star reviews for a reason; Frank is knowledgeable, professional, and an all around nice guy. 18 hours after calling (on a Sunday night), I have a new water heater installed, up and running. I also used Gomes to fix my HVAC unit over the summer, and received the same great service then.

They charged me $1100 to replace a $175 controller board that did not need to be replaced at all. I learned this by doing some research where I reviewed the video I took of the old board that clearly shows the error code is high limit sensor open, not a failed controller board. I could find this info on the internet and the technician couldn't read the error code?Then they left an inoperable furnace due to not repairing the high limit sensor and saying that my furnace had dancing flames, indicating according to them a cracked heat exchanger.They then said that they could replace the furnace for $6,000. Absurd! When I hired a company for $3500 to do the work, the technician disassembled the furnace and showed me that the heat exchanger was not cracked at all. Draw your own conclusions.
