Power Plumbing was really responsive via text! They came within a week for a non-emergency shower fix and dryer vent cleaning. Helped me identify part I needed which I was able to order ahead of their arrival. They did the job well, but ultimately overcharged me. Good quality work though

These guys are amazing! Called Tony at 8pm on a super cold night when our furnace was dying. He was at our place within 10 minutes. He didn't have the exact part in his truck, but came up with a creative fix that worked great throughout the night. The next morning he got the part and has us up and running in no time. Our pipes also froze because of the lack of heat, and Tony help us fix the problem ourselves over the phone. I cannot speak more highly of these guys. I felt like I was treated fairly and honestly. Tony was super communicative and very friendly throughout the process. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Josh and Alex arrived promptly and were very clear about the work that was to be done and what the cost would be. Replacement of our water heater was completed as projected and they were certain to test before leaving. Very satisfied and would use again.

Our contractors rectified it quickly after Justina provided us a fair quotation. They responded to all of my questions and were generally quite helpful. swift to act and exact in their execution. I will never longer contact the plumbers suggested by my home warranty anytime I have a plumbing issue; instead, I will use The Boston Plumber. The project was a nightmare before Justina and his crew intervened and made everything right.

RELIABLE AND HONEST WILL USE AGAIN!

I would give RotoRooter negative stars if I could. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with any company. From start to finish they were a disaster. After billing us a considerable amount up front to fix a sewage issue in our basement, they failed to show up to do the work until we called them repeatedly and threatened to fire them. Their water remediation team ran fans in our basement that likely spread bacteria from the sewage spill around our home; a mistake which people familiar with this type of work identified in no time. No one on the team ever knew when anyone else would show up. Then a miscommunication between team members meant that much more cement and piping was removed by jackhammer than necessary, resulting in extra unnecessary work for the plumber - work which we were billed for. Finally when we tried to have this billing issue addressed we were ignored and no adjustment was made. And those are just the bigger issue that I can remember after a very frustrating experience. Avoid!! (Boston area)

Ralph, who arrived around two hours after I had called, identified the issue and fixed it in an hour. If money is tight for you, less is not for you. However, if you're looking for top-notch service with affordable prices and a quick turnaround, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm hoping things are better now.

Jamaica Plain is clearly listed as a service area on their website, and it's only 2 miles from their address, but when I called I was told they don't service this area and they won't give a reason. If you don't service this area then don't listed it on your website and waste customer's time!
