I called them for diagnostics service for the water leak from my ceiling. The technician came and stayed for about 1 hour. At the end of the visit, the technician basically couldn't figure out what the problem is. THEY STILL CHARGED $300 FOR IDENTIFYING NOTHING.

After the visit, the technician said he will send me the summary of the visit (that includes pictures, what he looked at during the visit), but they never gave me that information. So I've been calling them OVER A WEEK to get this information but they have been purposefully avoiding my calls.

I got connected to a plumbing contractor through my realtor and he fixed everything for $300. (which is the price I paid for diagnostics service that didn't identify anything and I would have paid over $1000 if I used McMahon Plumbing.)

Frank was great. Very professional, polite and took his time to explain in detail everything he was gonna do prior to starting. Gave us a great price and warranty to go with it. I would definitely be using frank for any of my plumbing work in my house.

Matt (and Austin) were consummate professionals. They were really focused on getting the job done, they worked carefully in difficult circumstances to find and complete all the issues necessary to repair frozen pipe damage, the quality of their work was excellent as was the care they took of, and in, the house. Great work. I thoroughly recommend them.

Jay and his father are the best! They will give you truly impartial advice on what's best for you and your house rather than optimizing for their own good. Plus, their work is top notch. I am glad we have found them.

I had to get my hot water tank replaced. Manny and his son came first thing in the morning like they said they would. Very professional and friendly, and did a great job. They took time to explain things I should know about the tank and shut off valves, and cleaned up after themselves. Price is very reasonable compared to the other places I called.

Jim showed up quickly without an emergency fee, and correctly diagnosed the problem, which was electrical, not plumbing. He is also handling warranty paperwork for us, and reusing as much equipment as possible in our boiler replacement. He even took the time to look around the basement and recommend a few other things we should get repaired, not additional business for him, just a helpful eye. Very respectful and responsive while on site, even though we could not be in town for the work.

5 star service from beginning to end with J&B's Plumbing. Jerry was very cordial on the phone and worked with me to find a time that fit our busy schedule. John showed up on time as promised, fixed the job, proactively communicated with us, kept a clean work area and was a real pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend J&B's.

I had a drain problem with the main drain line of the house I am living in and Ron #5592 came and fixed the issue in 2 minutes. It was so quick and easy. After he was done and about to be on his way, we chatted for about 10-15 minutes about Boston life and family. I was very trilled he came to my aid as well as showing interest in my love for the city. Thanks Ron.
