Drain Flow/Anthony knows drains sooooooo much better than even your best plumber. I called him freaking out about a clogged tub drain. He happened to be passing through my neighborhood and came straight over. Removed some super gross stuff from my pipes, and came back another day when he was less busy to fix my broken tub stopper. Both are working perfectly now. He was professional and courteous, and really really good. I highly recommend him.

I have used Rich for over 10 years for various plumbing needs, including water heater installations. Rich is a real professional who not only loves what he does, does it well, but also really cares about his customers. Last night, my water heater kicked the bucket. I called Boston Water Heaters at around 9 pm to leave a message and Rich answered. Yes, he answered at 9 pm. Rich fit me in and came out today to install a new water heater for me. He came when he said and charged me what I knew to be a fair price. I will not use anyone else for this service. The care he has shown to me when I've been in a pinch has earned him my loyalty as a customer. Thanks Rich!

Total sham. He tried to charge me $6800 to replace my AC (less than 10 years old) entirely and charged me $250 for him to diagnosis that, while he was only here for about 30 minutes. Another guy is fixing it for $2400. He also undoubtedly made my AC problem worse while he was diagnosing it. It ran before he was here, and it completely stopped after he left. I'm assuming to cause some urgency in this summer heat and just have my blindly agree to his $6800.

I had an emergency situation where my outdoor hose spigot was leaking aggressively and pooling at the foundation. I had to turn off the water to my house since I didn’t have a control valve for that spigot alone.

So it was urgent, I called and they were able to send someone out that morning! The plumber came with the parts needed, finished the work efficiently, and even came in to help with an unrelated clog/slow drain.

The work was great and the price was more than fair, very happy with the work.

Akian Plumbing (AP) did two jobs for me - (1) installation of a tankless water heater and new piping after converting from a tank heater system - five stars, and (2) fixing a leaky outdoor spigot - two stars.(1) I had four bids for the first job, and AP was the only one I trusted would do the job properly. I was not disappointed - AP was very professional, knowledgeable, had great attention to detail, the result was of impeccable quality, and AP had seamless interactions with the town inspector. Five stars plus!(2) The outdoor spigot repair was a 15 min job, where AP replaced a rubber seal in the spigot. The bill - $209. I raised the cost issue with Steve Akian .. he said sorry, I have to cover my overhead [said it in a nicer and more articulate way, but that was the gist of the response]. Given that I had a great experience with the first project, I let this one go.My recommendation - AP is outstanding at complex, sophisticated installations, where skills and knowledge matter a great deal .. I highly recommend AP for such jobs. However, AP is simply not cost effective for minor, routine repairs .. for those, I would look for a different contractor.

The repair that was required, was done so with great swiftness, and the plumber who did so was awesome. He was honest, and I would not hesitate to call him back, and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you

We had some shaky pipes that needed to be secured and Tom and Joe were amazing. Very professional and their work is solid. When we initially called Velocity plumbing about the issue -they asked us to send a video to see if it needed fixing even without a in person eval, which I thought was an honest assessment. We have used them twice so far and will stick with these guys for any plumbing issues.
