Expensive!

Donarumo Plumbing came recommended by a mom’s group when I was in need of an emergency repair and struggling with securing a responsive provider. Matt was incredibly responsive, transparent, and easy to communicate with. He made it over on the same day and fixed my tenant’s issue immediately. We had a plumbing issue arise Saturday morning. T-Flow was quick to respond to my message (within 45 minutes) and worked very hard to schedule a visit at their earliest availability. Their team was prompt, kept me updated as to their ETA, was very professional, and helped us solve our problem. I would be happy to recommend these to any of my neighbors in the South End. We will be using T-Flow for all our plumbing needs going forward. Thanks again!

Power Plumbing has handled all my plumbing needs over the last 15 years. They are very responsive, fast workers, they know their craft. Their pricing is very reasonable.

I called about our kitchen sink not working, over the phone they informed me about a $99 service charge just to come out to the house. This would have been fine, but when the plumber arrived, they had me sign for the $99 charge and then told me that there would be another $200 diagnostic fee for them to continue. Now I have agreed to $300, none of which would go towards labor or materials for a fix. They initially dismissed the problem saying the faucet would need to be replaced and only when I pressed them about the valves under the sink did they continue to investigate to find the valves would need to be replaced as well.

I agreed to have them replace the valves. In the process they turned the main water off with no notice (we have an upstairs neighbor), left a bin of water in the basement for me to deal with, and charged me $235 for a sloppy job opening the wall (picture attached). The actual valve replacement work was done and seems fine (cost $530).

All in all they did the job, but they weren't very friendly or helpful and I wasn't very happy about the extra $200 getting tacked on to the $99 service charge before any work was done. Total amount charged was over $1000.

UPDATE: After posting this review they called and apologized for the poor experience, refunding me the $200 diagnostic fee. I would consider giving them another shot in the future.

Came the same day I called to help with my heater issues. They were professional and knowledgeable in letting me know the issues and how to fix them. I felt like I wasn’t being upsold in any way and that I was getting honest advice. Highly recommend.

I needed an emergency plumber and Frank made an effort to come out last notice on the weekend. Supply house was closed for the parts he needed. Made plans to come back Monday. Frank showed up and finished the job. Honest and straight forward. I would use Frank again and refer him to friends and family.

Ron was incredibly professional, did a great job installing my appliance. He went so far as to sweep behind the dryer as I hopefully won't be going back there for another decade. Two thumbs up.

True Blue Plumbing & Heating was exceptional to work with! We replaced our old oil furnace and hot water system with new gas systems after getting the gas line brought to our house. Steve and his crew were terrific. They did the work over the course of 3 cold January days and sequenced everything so that we were not without heat or hot water for any noticeable length of time. They showed up at 8am when they said they would, they cleaned up after the work areas at the end of each day, the took care of the inspections with the city and National Grid and they were willing to answer all of the questions that we had about running and maintaining these 2 new systems. Karen, in the True Blue office, guided us through the MassSave loan process too. I would highly recommend True Blue Plumbing & Heating to anyone in the South Shore!

Service was great. Sam arrived within an hour of me calling him. Sam quickly identified the problem with my furnace and fixed it immediately. I definitely recommend!

It's my Dad's plumbing company, so... He's good at fixing old systems, and likes taking on the odd complex problems that pop up in old plumbing and heating systems in the basements of Boston. He puts a lot of thought into crafting new high efficiency heating systems too, and likes to save energy in the long run by putting in nessisary effort upfront to reduce heat loss.

Charlie and the Pinnacle team were great! They answered the phone on the first call, came out same day to take a look at the project to quote it, and were onsite within three days to begin the work. This was a new construction project so didn't require urgency, but they treated us like it was the most important project they had (even though it wasn't). They were professional, detailed, and well priced. HIGHLY recommend

Tom is always quick to respond and very knowledgeable about all things plumbing and heating. Velocity Plumbing is so reliable and has saved me several times in the past two years. They’ve serviced our hot water heater as well as bathrooms. I can’t say enough about how great the service is.
