Best A/C System Repair in Boston MA

i've used this company several times over the years for clogs - the main line to the house, the washer, the tenant's (who dumped grease & bolts down the drain) sink. they have always been reasonably priced and did a great job on the clogs. i was in the process of recommending them to a friend so i decided to write a review.

I manage hundreds of properties across Greater Boston. CTW by far is the best vendor that I use, the owner is extremely knowledeable and most importantly trust worthy. Becky who runs the day to day is super pleasant and great to work with. We use them for hundreds of repairs calls a year, in addition as a general contractor they do plumbing for all our construction jobs. John came and repaired some duct work so that the heat flow increased into the room I needed it too.

Frank Gomes and his assistant were great! They helped troubleshoot a problem with an old steam boiler and did a servicing and cleaning of two boiler units. Frank explained everything he did and answered all my questions. I'll definitely call Frank again when I need more help with plumbing or my heating systems.

During the bitter cold snap over this past weekend, we realized we had no hot water and poor heat. Went down to the basement to find water all over the floor. After spending 2 hours on the phone looking for plumber, T-Flow called me back and came the next day! Henry & Jose came promptly on time & spent 6 hours, replacing the hot water heater & cleaning the furnace & replacing old parts. They were great - professional, courteous & willing to do more after clearing it with their boss, Matt. Matt was great too -- keeping in contact with my landlord to get necessary approvals for repairs. This is the 3rd time I've called TFlow & had a positive experience each time. I highly recommend them.

I called White’s recently to replace a leaking 3 foot section of cast iron sewer line.

After calling 6 other local plumbers, White’s was the only one able to stop by the day the leak started, temporarily repair it, and come back the next day to complete the job. They were decent, courteous, neat, and fast.

However, they charged $2400 in labor for a repair that took 4 hours and about $50 in parts. I expected to pay more for an emergency repair, but not to be taken.

If you are willing to pay a premium, White’s will do an excellent job. However, if you can, I’d recommend shopping around.

These folks are very professional, they know what needs to be done and are straight with the customer. Great to have a reliable plumbing service close by!!

I had two moderate issues with the HVAC system in my new home. Ledi and Patrick from McMahon came days after I requested an appointment and took care of both issues. They were on-time in the window quoted and took the time to explain their work and its impact on my home to me. Called 781 Plumbing and heating on late Sunday night. Very responsive and quick. As new homeowners, 781 plumbing was very helpful with our boiler issue, providing us with some knowledge and peace of mind.

Tony was super responsive and does quality work. He was able to come last minute to take out the toilet and vanity before the tiler arrived.

Not only that, there was a leak because he overtightened the attachment and had to come back to fix it and didn't charge us. A lot of companies could have said it happened after the install and charged us.

Rich came out the same day as my water heater died, with permits and a replacement in tow. He was thorough, prompt, professional and personable. He took time to explain the details of the system and how it worked. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely use him again.

Ron and team have been wonderful to work with. The are very quick to respond and show up on time for the job. They have helped us on several jobs and perform excellent same day service for no heat calls. A+ service, highly recommend!

They take advantage of you if you are in a fix. My water heater broke and called them to replace it on a Saturday. They came replaced the heater took the old one back.
GE Water heater with same warranty (6 yrs) costs $425 in Home depot. They charged my tenant $2250 plus $ 375 for coming on Saturday.
When confronted I was told that they used better water heater which costs $1100. That means I was still charged $1400 for installation ($350 an hour )
He agreed to refund me the overcharged amount and sent me a Big check of $100. Which was promptly returned to him.
Isn't it day time robbery ? Never use them if you don't want to be robbed.
