Best Emergency Drain in Boston MA

Michel from this company came to my house and converted oil to a gas system. He did a very good job Michel is very honest and his prices are fair I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends he is very hard working if can give him 7 stars I would and I am very satisfied with his work and he is very fast.

Joe installed a new boiler system for us and we were really happy with his work, we've already scheduled him for another job.

We were working with the Mass Save program and Joe knew how to do all the paperwork and guide us through the process. He is really fast on text, and was able to schedule us for work right away even though it was right before Christmas. He finished the job a day early, and called later to make sure we were happy with it, and has been very quick to answer follow-up questions, even two months after he put it in.

We're first-time homeowners, so it's a big relief to now have a reliable plumber who we can quickly get in touch with when something goes wrong. I'd definitely recommend him!

Jim came over and looked at an old cast iron pipe that was rusting. He did exactly what he said he would do cut out the old pipe and replace with new. He communicated well and very reasonable with the price. We are pleased with his work. Thanks Jim!

Silas and his crew has done 2 jobs for us now. He is punctual, polite, and professional. Last year he was able to beat two local, 5 star rated on Angie's list, Hvac companies estimated by over $2000. I do not hesitate to refer them to friends and family. I don't personally have any interest in the company, nor do I know anyone that works for them personally. He has been honest and reasonable with his assessments and followed up by squeezing me in in between jobs when I was in need. This company is legit, and I was lucky to stumble upon them online. I hope you will find this review in a time of need, because I know they will deliver for you.

They charged me $79 to come out and quote a drain repair and faucet replacement in my kitchen....Sit down...$850! When I said no thanks they pressured me to pay the $79 in cash immediately before they left my driveway. The service tech told me it's all prepriced. So why didn't they tell me the cost upfront? I would never have asked them come out for that price. They threatened to send the invoice to collections.....after I paid it! BTW I had it repaired for $350!

Ralph, who arrived around two hours after I had called, identified the issue and fixed it in an hour. If money is tight for you, less is not for you. However, if you're looking for top-notch service with affordable prices and a quick turnaround, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm hoping things are better now.

Great service

I sold my house a few months ago and I had to complete a final round of renovations before we put it on the market. In the kitchen we needed a kettle pot filler plumbed & installed and a gas line run for the new stove - and we needed a 2nd floor laundry room fully plumbed.

Real came to our home to give us an estimate one afternoon. He was on-time, courteous, honest - and very thorough. He walked me though every issue I had and talked me through all of the work that would have to be completed to plumb the laundry room. As a rule: I get three estimates from different contractors to get the best price. Real was my second contractor. I didn't even bother calling the third plumber because I knew that Real was an honest guy and someone I trusted. There are a lot of sketchy contractors in Mass but Real is like a diamond in the rough.

He completed everything super quickly and was able to accommodate our wicked tight schedule and work around other contractors in the house. He has a calming demeanor about him and this kept me from flipping out on some of the other contractors.

We had a few problems where Real saved the day: 1) With a tile guy who accidentally severed the drain pipe for the claw foot tub and it started raining through the kitchen ceiling below (note that the ceiling was just installed by the plasterers and wasn't even 24 hours old...). After I stopped screaming, I wiped the tears away, poured a drink and I called Real. He came over the next morning and was able to fix everything - without having to have the newly tiled floor or the new ceiling redone!! Seriously - he was such a blessing!

2) Second issue was with an electrician who didn't properly attach the new range hood and it came crashing down - onto the new kettle pot filler. I should have fired this guy several problems ago, but he was the brother of our Realtor so out of guilt and stupidity, I kept him on… Same story: I called Real in a panic - I had a new kettle pot filler overnighted and he came out right away and installed the new one. He saved the day.

Through the ups and downs with this renovation, Real was the best contractor I have ever worked with. I seriously couldn’t have sold this house without him. I wish he would move his family to Richmond, VA (where I am now) - so that I could hire him again. I highly recommend Real for all of your plumbing needs - he'll get it done - he'll do it right - and he’s honest about the price.

Overall I had a good experience with Boston Standard Company. James the technician quickly recognized that I needed ports installed on my water heater in order to descale. I appreciate him sharing this information and sending me an estimate for what the job would cost in a timely manner.One suggestion for improvement. A few months back I called to schedule an appointment and the person I spoke with on the phone said she couldn't finalize the appointment and someone else would reach out to me later. That call never happened. I followed up a few weeks later and find out that an appointment was already made without any discussion with me. Not a big deal, but I would've appreciated if someone let me know that an appointment was already made or called me to finalize the date/time.

I have worked with Mound Mechanical a few times now and they will remain the go-to plumber for me. They are extremely punctual and responsive. It's a very professional operation, and my view is if you just don't have time to mess around go with Mound and you will have good results.

Used Aqua Plumbing to install a combi-boiler. While I have worked with many good plumbers past few years, Homero and team stand above all. In addition to a quick and perfect installation, advised on best system and solutions. Price competitive as well.

Billy showed up on time and diagnosed the problem with my garbage disposal. Very knowledge and professional. Would definitely recommend using Boston budget plumbing.

We replaced sink and shower head in our old bathroom with I&C MECHANICAL. We had an issue with old pipe during process and everything was fixed and replaced. Very professional service, good communication and they always arrived on time.

We had a backed up main sewer line due to tree roots. The Rhino Rooter service tech did an excellent job of clearing out the blockage but the most amazing part is the cleanup he did. I was anticipating bringing in a cleaning service but did not need to. Highly recommend this company

Enrique and Chris called before arrival as promised, arrived on time. They were friendly, polite and professional, and did the repair work needed quickly and efficiently. So far everything they repaired has been working well.

Charlie....was excellent. Did not know the buildiing, but, stayed with the major problem until it was fixed!
