David is a smart guy and quickly responsive to our plumbing needs -- especially when we are in a panic with an urgent problem. We have appreciated his services for many years and he has literally saved the day on more than one occasion. We also use his rooter services each year in the fall to be sure there aren't any tree roots or other obstacles in the outgoing sewer pipe before winter arrives.

For the last few years, David has cleaned out the main drains that are compromised and fill up with roots, and he's been great! He has also cleared drains in bathrooms and the laundry room, fixed a bathroom sink, and does it all very professionally and with a smile on his face! I plan on calling him again!

We are first time homeowners and got water all over the basement during our first week in the new house. We tracked the problem to an overflowing pipe in the basement and the plumber was able to diagnose the issue as a clogged sewer main. David was able to come out with his crew the same day and removed lots of roots from the sewer. He took the time to explain the issue to me and patiently answered all my questions. We'll definitely be having him come out regularly to keep the sewer lines clear in the future.

We had a backed up main sewer line due to tree roots. The Rhino Rooter service tech did an excellent job of clearing out the blockage but the most amazing part is the cleanup he did. I was anticipating bringing in a cleaning service but did not need to. Highly recommend this company

I called and left a voicemail requesting a tub drain service, and I had a callback the same day (I had used the Angie’s List quote request the week before but never had a response through that, though they are top-rated there). The technician came out the next day and cleared the tub drain. The cost was half of what Roto Rooter charges.

David came to my house on a Sunday to care of a severely clogged drain. Terrific communication and service, grateful to have this problem resolved on a Sunday morning!

We’re just first time home buyers getting to find out the mysteries and hick ups of owning a house. We notice yesterday some water backing up in the basement. A friend recommended Rhino Rooter. We went online, filled out an appointment request and 2 minutes later David called.

We set up and appointment for this morning, David came in with his equipment, unclogged our sewer line , replaced our sewer cap and 1 1/2 hour later he was gone.

Very professional, he had the right equipment and we would definitely keep his contact information for sewer and other issues we might have.

WONDERFUL. I'm a new home owner and had a flooded basement this morning. Rhino Rooter called me back immediately had Manny here within 30 minutes. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond helping me with insinkerator and bathtub drain. They have no desire to over charge. Cost was so reasonable. Manny educated me as to what I needed to do to prevent further flooding and left me feeling well informed and cared for. HUGE!

Use them on two occasions. Very professional. Will most definitely call them for any future plumbing issues.

David is great. He has been cleaning the sewer pipes of this old building for years, and is so friendly too. A few years ago we had a nasty back-up, and he came to rescue. Ever since I am sure to make an appointment annually. He is quick to respond, genuinely wants to help, and take care of what we need quickly and efficiently. This company is running a ponzy scheme and taking advantage of the fact that people are still scared of COVID to justify egregious rates. It’s a disgrace that they would stoop so low. DONT BE FOOLED!!

Our toilet wasn't working and rhino rooter sent a tech to assess the problem without disclosing any pricing info. They came in, diagnosed that our sewage pump wasn't connected to an outlet that worked, asked us for an extension cord to try a different outlet and that's it. Problem solved. They charged us $325 to tell us to use a different outlet...there was no plumbing. Furthermore, when I spoke to Dave, the owner, to understand the charge, he said that in today’s day and age post COVID, doing any plumbing job is a hazard to workers entering homes and their fees include this element of risk. If you’re so concerned about your techs safety then Dave, have them wear masks when they enter houses at the very least. His tech was completely comfortable walking into our home without a mask and didn’t even ask us any COVID precautionary qs prior. Complete BS.

They were responsive cleaned my drain cleaned up any mess they made and reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

I called Rhino Rooter at 8:00am on a Sunday and David was onsite within 15 minutes. Very professional, fast response, and the invoice was very reasonable. Definitely will save the number for plumbing needs moving forward.

David at rhino rooter charged an elderly woman $3,900 to replace the pictured PVC, a total of 3 hours was spent on site. He didn’t water test the connection, and flooded the basement. He refuses to discuss the situation with I, a family member, or anyone else that is not the confused, and vulnerable home owner. Text book elderly abuse. The damage David did was quoted at $15,000 to remediate and replace. I would avoid at all cost.

Very disappointing experience with David at Rhino. We hired him to put a camera through our main line from our house to the street in order to identify the cause of our plumbing issues. We commissioned a project to fix the main line based on his work. However, he had three big misses from my perspective. One, he said he went all the way to the street. However, there's no way this could have been possible given how blocked the pipe was (see pics below). Two, turns out the line was PVC and had been replaced previously. This should have been obvious to him. Had we known this, we would have approached the project differently. Three, and most critical, when we called him to talk about this and ask for some type of refund (we paid $650), he was quite rude and unprofessional. He wouldn't even consider the possibility that there was a miss on his part. And then he basically hung up.

It's hard to run a small business, I get that. Getting defensive and blaming everyone else doesn't help. A much better approach could have been I stand by my work but clearly your not satisfied. I can't refund the full amount but how about X. It's most important to me that my customers feel good about the experience.

Used Dave's service on a number of occasions. He came by again today and fixed the kitchen drainage. It was a tough situation and took him a full hour. He was professional, excellent at work, and also a guy very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Rhino Rooter to anyone!

Easily 5 stars - Professional from start to finish.

When I called to ask about having them come out for our emergency plumbing issue, I was not only greeted by someone who clearly knew what they were doing but was also met with unexpected, but very welcomed, empathy regarding the extremely stressful situation we were in. David even attempted to shift pre-existing non-emergency appointments around to get to us faster. AND he kept me in the loop every step of the way which is definitely appreciated when you have an emergency.

In the end they arrived well over an hour earlier than they thought they would. Both of the people who showed up were very pleasant and extremely professional. We had the expectation when they arrived that this was going to be a much larger repair (based on a third party assessment) but the technicians from Rhino Rooter were determined to fully try the least expensive option before starting down that road and were successful - which obviously saved us a great deal of money. They also left all areas they worked in very clean at the end of the job.

We were VERY happy with their work and with their professionalism. We would definitely use them again and definitely plan to do so.

They were very nice, and they showed up and fixed the problem in a short amount of time. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Hired them to clear a blockage. Next morning we got a huge leak from the bathtub. Water went down to the basement from the second floor. The ceiling and wall in the kitchen got damaged. The Rhino rooter so called 'pro' broke a pipe and left without telling us. When we called him to make him to fix the issue, he told HE WOULD NOT COME, because he was busy with something else.

This company is GREAT!!!. Yesterday National Grid came to replace my gas meter. For some unknown reason the water heater would not restart. We were out of hot water for the night. I called Dave at Rhino rooter and he came right over. the entire water heater needed to be replaced. He spent all day here with one of his plumbers and then switched it out. I have used Dave's services at Rhino rooter since about 2014 and would never use anyone else. Great service. Great people, Great work ethic. Thank you , Thank you, Thank you !!!
