I can't say enough about Richard and his crew at Boston Water Heaters.I was extremely happy with the response when I called them when my old water heater failed and had water all over my basement.Rich and his crew came within an hour of my phone call , installed a new water heater same day at a reasonable cost . I don't write many reviews but the general public needs to know what true professionals they are . I highly recommend Boston Water Heaters

Tyler came out on a Saturday night and spent a lot of time working out a difficult clog in our sink. He was very friendly and professional and we appreciate his hard work. We would recommend him to a friend and will request him if we have any other issues in the future.

We have been using Bell Tower Plumbing & Heating for years for all of our plumbing needs. We formerly owned a multi-unit apartment building and used Bill on a regular basis for many, many, tenant plumbing issues over the years. We also use Bill at our own home. He is very professional, on-time, quick to respond, reasonably priced, dependable and honest. Bill never tries to up-sell a job and I have always been pleased with his work. I would recommend using his services to anyone and have many times to family members and friends. He is outstanding and you won't be disappointed.

Greg and his team were very professional and knowledgeable of their work. We had a last minute stove emergency that required more repairs than we expected. Greg talked us through all the necessary steps and made sure we had all the repairs done in a timely manner. Prices were transparent throughout the whole conversation, which was much appreciated. Will definitely use his services in the future!

I have a sink in my basement that the washer empties into. It has gotten clogged 3 times before that I had to get it cleared. It usually cost about $500 and made a mess. The Drain Guy was in and out in minutes, cleaned up after himself, and only charged $175.00. Can't be beat.

Amazing work by E Francis Plumbing & Heating! Not only was the quality of work and professionalism top notch, but they went above and beyond to ensure that my concerns were addressed. As a new homeowner, I had a list of repairs that needed to be addressed. Mike ensured that the gas pipe connected to my stove was completely secure by attaching a new piece of wood behind my drywall. Then, after hearing about my concern about mice coming through the remaining gap, he offered to fill the space with pest foam sealant. Definitely not part of his job requirements, but like I said above and beyond! Would highly recommend and will have them back for future jobs. Thanks, Mike!

Very happy with Cardarelli Plumbing & Heating. Joe replaced my old hot water heater and converted my old oil fired boiler to a new Tankless direct vent combination gas boiler. Also, provided all the rough and finish plumbing for my remodeled bathroom. Couldn't be happier.

In remarking about Jim -- his work and manner of it -- quite simply, instills the same description -- after all without maintenance, updates, repairs, and new plumbing, etc. what really would then become of towns and cities. An initial attempt to contact some companies with a work request all too often is not acknowledged or after it is and work begins then a machine-recorded call is made stating someone is scheduled to arrive, or worse a third party calls with nothing more than a display of Call Support -- now one would have to be quite perceptive to connect that with a plumbing company you were expecting a person to get back to...at times these machine-delivered calls can occur four times in ten minutes (thanks to Silent mode or call blocking) -- whereby first impression might be thinking why did someone call so many times while we were out etc... Surely most people know today who calls after viewing call received list or handset record display, but how might a machine know! It came to us later that it was a machine...also if one reluctantly uses a web site form beware of some scripts (here no..script net...) whereby one enters name and number and personal details and hope for best that it is not getting passed to others...

None of this applies to principal Jim, (and Gas Work) and quite an impressive array on specifics detailed for each of these three services can be viewed at his web site. Web sites can, and Jim's does, give one a positive perception. It is clear and straight forward, and that and much else, describes Jim.

His expertise of plumbing, heating, and gas is complemented by his holistic, practical experience and understanding of the entire house, types of insulation, structural matters, and much else one will gleam when talking with him, and add this while he is working! Initially he was asked to remove a no longer length of bathroom vent pipe and remove gas line for dryer...

He came to Medford mmediately after being contacted, did the work and before you know it we asked him to do more work based on the initial positive experience. We are glad we did. The project consisted of a complete Replacement of copper for kitchen sink supply lines, new laundry supply lines, and much else. Jim then noted kitchen vent pipe not per code..so we asked him to correct this; one does not want sewer gas in their home.

A request was made another impersonal company, one who uses automation to confirm a request and one who is inflexible to acknowledge via other means of customer, not willing to acknowledge much else, again none of this applies to Jim's company and that is where the focus of these words ought rest.

It may not be often enough that one is in the company of a highly skilled person who conveys complete mastery of their field, lacks the slightest hint of arrogance, explains the process of steps of planned and current work, states when something observed is not per code, and helps one decide upon various ways to rightly address, all while being interesting and pleasant to talk with, what some describe as a person who does to tout how much they enjoy their profession -- that speaks in their detailed actions and quality outcomes.

I reached out to Montrond Company during a heat wave when my AC gave up on me. Silas answered the call and stopped by to look at my unit the same day that evening and figured out it was the capacitor that was broken. He was able to replace it the following morning and I've had no issues with my AC since then! I am impressed with Silas and the Montrond Company's responsiveness, professionalism and efficiency. He gave me some good advice and suggestions on a heating issue I've been dealing with and plan to use them for that project as well. The Montrond Company is trustworthy and has the customer's best interest at heart.

The team arrived well ahead of promised ETA. They were professional and polite. The toilet was unclogged in only about 15 minutes. Everything was cleaned up completely. Thanks for great service!

The technicians were very through, professional and neat. The wore shoe protection to avoid any damage to our hardwood floors and left the area as clean as they found it. I would definitely recommends Boston Standard and have been a client for almost 8 years.

My water heater gave out at midnight last night. I was at a loss of who to contact for help. Rich Mathews was the first site to come up in my google search and I am so glad it did. He had great reviews and was local. I called right away and his wife was so nice and very helpful, Rich called back in 5 minutes, we had a Face Time chat so he could see the area. He gave me a very reasonable price over the phone and within 30 minutes he and his wife were in my driveway with a new water heater. What a great guy and great company and great couple. His work is impeccable, they cleaned up after themselves and even gave me a couple of recommendations for some good restaurants. All in all a lovely couple and ultimate professionals that take pride in their work. I will recommend Rich Mathews and Sons to all of my family and friends. Called on Wednesday for backup sink, made appointment for Friday around 8-1. On Thursday, I missed a call to confirm appt so I called them back to confirm; they then tell me I’ve been pushed back to the late afternoon. They advise, Plumber may be earlier I tell them I can’t do anything after 4, they say ok, don’t worry. I call on Friday afternoon for update, they then tell me I need to cancel due to a flood issue. I understand issues arises but I don’t understand why no one called or text me. That is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Worst experience ever. I do not recommend.
