Never was a company more accurately named! If I could give Simon from High Quality Plumbing a ten-star rating, I would. From the start when he sent me a calendar meeting invite for the initial consultation, I knew I was dealing with a professional. Simon and his assistant, Nic, replaced a poorly installed Navien combi boiler that controls our heat and hot water when it suddenly died in the middle of winter. We'd had recurring problems with it because of the poor installation. It was a lot of work to replace, and he and Nic worked diligently to get the job done so we could have our heat and hot water back on as soon as possible.

Simon installed a newer model Navien combi boiler that is much quieter and has several new features. He also added several redundant valve shut offs to make future servicing of the system as easy as possible to keep it running efficiently. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, and why each of the components were necessary and what they did, sending links from the manufacturers so I could feel comfortable with his suggestions. He was thorough and careful in planning the system as a whole. When a stubborn problem arose with one of the components, he followed every lead to make sure it was adjusted properly.

After the job was finished, Simon was diligent in making sure that the system was tested properly and that all the valves were labeled so that we knew where the gas and water shut offs were in case we needed to shut off the system in an emergency. He had a city inspector come in to approve the work, so you know he had installed everything according to code. It was approved on the spot with no problems.

I can't say that I've ever had this good of an experience hiring a contractor to work in my home before. He and Nic were respectful, professional, and considerate. They put drop cloths down where they worked and cleaned up the space afterward. Every evening, they would make arrangements for what time they would each be arriving the next morning, and they were always on time and stayed into the evening some days. I wish I could hire them for every job needed around our house!

Simon ot me on the schedule promptly and was very responsive and explained all the details and options of my repair. I would recommend High Quality Plumbing LLC without reservation to anyone.

Simon is a very respectful, hard working man of integrity. He was to replace a neutralizing whole house water filter .
He ordered the filter and had it delivered to my home. Everything arrived as ordered and on time. He showed up at my house on time and began his work.This unit he was replacing has been in my home for 22 years. The pipes were rusty which he replaced and the pipes had to all be rerouted. He drained the system and put the new unit in . removed all the pipes and shut off valves and replaced them. He cleaned up before leaving and put the items that he moved back where they were. I am so relieved that it's done. More then that I'm glad I hired Simon because he is a perfectionist. He won't leave a job until it's done right. I'm very pleased with the results.

Annual maintenance of Navien Boiler

I have lived in a house that’s 125 years old for over 40 years; believe me—I have some experience with plumbers! I’m here to tell you that High Quality Plumbing is far and away the BEST company I have ever dealt with. They are expert at what they do, show up when they say they will, and truly care about doing the best possible job at the least possible expense to the homeowner. Call them. You will be glad you did.

I have a Navien Combi boiler NCB-180 which stopped working and only made hot water but no heat. I diagnosed the unit and came to a conclusion that the 3 way valve was damaged. Made a call to Simon on a Saturday and explained the problem and was able to get an appt for Tues. He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable and taught me alot about the system. Through his diagnosis he was able to confirm my diagnosis and explained that not only was the 3 way valve damaged but I also needed a new heat exchanger. While talking to Navien he was able to get me a free 3 way valve and motherboard not under warranty and also a heat exchanger that was under warranty. Once Navien sent the parts Simon made an appt immediately for install and completed the job ahead of schedule while teaching me some valuable lessons along the way. I highly recommend high quality plumbing for any plumbing needs, very professional and take pride in a job well done.

Simon installed a new high-efficiency combi boiler for us. His workmanship is exceptional. His communication was stellar and he always let us know where he was with the project. He taught us about our new unit and ensured that we understood how it worked. He has been very responsive to our calls with questions and is just such a polite and kind man. I recommend him to anyone.

A few years ago my tankless water heater stopped working on a Saturday morning...

I called my regular plumber but they were not able to help me. I got a long list of plumbers and started calling them one by one. Nobody was answering or returning my calls!

I went down my long list of plumbers and eventually called High Quality Plumbing who answered the phone and was willing to come to my house that day.

They mitigated the issue but let me know the water heater would need replacing. I did not have any warranty papers but they contacted the water heater company and convinced them to replace the water heater for free!!!

I was charged a very reasonable price for the new installation. The new water heater has been working fine since then :-)

We have had Simon perform our annual heating system maintenance along with some additional repairs and were extremely satisfied with the work he has done for us. I used High Quality Plumbing to replace my old boiler system that provided water for both the heating and hot water systems. The boiler was completely inoperable and the house was without hot water (and heat but it was May).

Simon came to my home to evaluate the existing system. After discussing with him what I thought I wanted and needed, Simon educated my on my options. This was an important step in the process as the solution I was interested in was tankless and high efficiency. Water quality plays an important factor in these systems.

It was during Simon's initial visit that decided I was going to use High Quality. Simon stressed wanting to get things right, not only from the standpoint of installation but also ensuring the system we were evaluating was the right solution for my home. Within 24 hours, Simon sent an extremely detailed quote with all the secondary and tertiary things needed for the installation. The quote came in $1000 under a quote from Winters Home Services (3 options, all very boilerplate).

After accepting the quote from High Quality Plumbing, Simon immediately came out and installed a 20 gallon hot water heater as a temporary solution because I had been without hot water (the reason why we were getting the boiler replaced).

Work started on time and was done the exact day Simon had scheduled. Inspection was passed without issue. He and his team were very clean and respectful.

Simon is an honest and great plumber. I dropped my contact lenses into the side hole of my bathroom room. And I want to find it out. It's like an impossible mission but I still want to give it a shot. Simon learned my situation, told me what he might do and honestly told me he could not guarantee it would succeed. Though it was very late, he still came to my place and helped to solved the problem. He tried every means he could think of. Even when I had given up, he was still trying, very professional! Another important thing is he charges very reasonably and performs greater than he asks for. Five starts! Definitely give Simon a call if you need a plumber!!!

Despite the COVID-19 disruption, it was a pleasure to do business with High Quality Plumbing. I had a poorly installed Navien combi water heater that came with the apartment that kept producing errors. Simon diagnosed the problem, discovered which parts could be replaced under warranty, and performed the repair with courtesy, transparency, and efficiency. He also helped me evaluate whether the repair was a better option than replacement. I found High Quality Plumbing on the Navien website as a certified installer, and will absolutely be calling them for future maintenance.

Simon & his team thoroughly explained the heating system I was getting, and installed it quickly, during the month of February. I highly recommend them!

New to Woburn and contacted Simon for a plumbing issue based on his proximity and some very good posted reviews. He was great... gave me some very good advice in advance of his visit, arrived right on time and fixed the problem quickly taking care to leave my home as neat and clean as when he arrived. Very personable and reasonable, someone I feel good about recommending to others.

Our two Navien combo boilers were having problems. The heat and hot water stopped working. We called Simon asking him to help and he came right after finished the work in somewhere else. It was later afternoon when Simon arrived. He thoroughly checked the boilers and quickly fixed them. We are very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. Simon definitely is the Navien combo expert we are going to keep.

I had a leak in toilet that needed an emergency replacement of new toilet bowl. I randomly called Simon and he answered my call and gave the suggestion what to buy and made it easy for me one the 1st step. When he came, he got into work and didn't waste a single minute for me and replaced it in 1 hours time. Through out the process he explained me what he was doing and why he was doing. Very genuine and honest. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing work and will be calling him again for more work soon...... There were others asking double the money without even asking what needs to be done. Great work Simon.
