This was a new experience for my father’s home and once Shayla picked up the phone she made me feel comfortable with a sense that I was in good hands. Tico and his crew arrived in less than 30 minutes after I placed the first the call and thoroughly inspected where was the issue with the sewer lateral pipe break and identified it; as another company in Boston provided my father wrong info on the lateral break. Tico,Brandon along with everyone on his crew were so amazing and professional. They got the job done in a few hours! Many people I’ve spoken to have also said many excellent things about this company. We bought an older house this Summer, and, of course, soon discovered many things wrong with the chimney, plumbing, furnace, etc. We set about finding companies to deal with all of this and more.

After discovering a leak in our sewer line in the basement, we called a recommended plumber, who did not return three calls. We researched other plumbers, and found True Blue Plumbing. Their reviews were good, so I called. The great experience started when their office receptionist, Karen answered the phone, and was immediately responsive, helpful and reassuring. This excellent experience continued as plumber Mike arrived, looked at the problem. He needed to return with parts. He replaced the needed part, cleaned out the line and cleaned up the space before leaving, to look better than it had before. He also recommended a couple of additional things we could do in the future.

He was extremely polite and professional. I went over the concerns one more time with him. He was at my place within 1 hour. That was also extremely impressive. He was very cautious of the covid 19 situation. He put me at ease right away with his professionalism. He diagnosed my concerns and explained very clearly what needed to be done. We agreed on a very fair price and 30 minutes later my sink and disposal was up and working. Andrew throughly cleaned up the work area and was on his way. It's my Dad's plumbing company, so... He's good at fixing old systems, and likes taking on the odd complex problems that pop up in old plumbing and heating systems in the basements of Boston. He puts a lot of thought into crafting new high efficiency heating systems too, and likes to save energy in the long run by putting in nessisary effort upfront to reduce heat loss.

We just bought a first floor condo and decided to add some kind of air conditioning. We had 3 different companies come and quote us on the system they thought would be best for our situation. All said a mini duct HVAC system would be best but Sila really stood out from the start. Competitive pricing, but above all Steve M. went above and beyond just on his first visit to explain the entire process and measure everything to come up with 2 possible layouts that we could consider. He spent a good hour doing the measuring where the other companies spent 5 min in our home and told us, we can do it and this is what it will cost. The work took only 4 days and the two workers were great, considerate and were constantly cleaning up after themselves. We plan on using Sila for all our HVAC from now on. would definitely recommend Sila to anyone.

Given your previous reviews, please take the time to consider your answers. They definitely come off the wrong way and aren't inviting or welcoming. I understand it can be frustrating to get forwarded a job request on a quote but customers are still interested on any estimate they get. I thought it was me reading the tone a certain way by your response, but after seeing your reviews there is a pattern. Why start with 'We don't do cheap projects' ... and then suggesting what I can look up online' understand that perhaps that is exactly what the customer is doing ( due diligence) and doesn't need suggestions on how they sort through estimates. All you have to do is provide the quote, and feel confident on what your company provides. Please take the time to consider approaching yelp inquiries differently.
