Best A/C System Repair in Washington DC

We contacted #1 DMV plumbing because the tub spout in our primary bathroom came off. This was on Nov 17. A plumber named DJ responded to our call and came out a day and a half later. He came out twice over the next few days — never arriving on time and never with the tools he needed to fix the job. He told us he'd be back on Nov 19 — a Saturday — to complete the job. We stayed home all day and he never showed up, never answered his phone, never responded to texts. When I finally got ahold of him on Sunday, his response was (direct quote): My apologies my phone was shut down yesterday. Three days later he came again (reminder: this is all to replace a broken spout), but he had bought the wrong spout. He said he'd be back the next morning at 9am, which is was Thanksgiving morning. You sure? I asked him. Three times he shook my hand and said, No problem at all, this should only take a few minutes. I'll be there. Well, on Thursday morning, he never showed up. I called him. I texted him. No response. We pushed back our plans to drive to Pennsylvania to wait for him to arrive. Nothing. To date, he's never returned our calls or texts, has never fixed the problem, and still has our original spout. Just ghosted us — and wasted a ton of our time. On top of this, it's been 12 days since we've had a working shower. I understand that things come up or schedules change; basic communication and courtesy can go a long way, but we didn't experience either of these. Steer clear of #1 DMV Plumbing. These guys are not professional or dependable.

(To make this a little more clear, we contacted #1 DMV Plumbing 12 days ago. In the attached photo, you can see the current state of our tub/shower. And we haven't heard a word from them in five days. Needless to say, we have a real plumber coming in the morning.)

Mr. Jenkins was very professional, efficient, tidy, & accomodating of his schedule to respond to my last minute need for an appointment. He the followed up on scheduled appointment time.

I would not hesitate to use his services again. If you want a reliable, honest, reasonable plumber, call Mr. Jenkins.

Carlos did an excellent job he was very informative, he explain
to us step by step what he was doing and what process he was going to take to fix the problem. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done.

GEO Plumbing LLC went above and beyond our expectations! First of all, they called to let us know they could come earlier if we wanted. Amazing! They arrived and were so knowledgeable, professional and kind. They not only fixed the issue we called about but helped us solve two other nagging plumbing problems while here! They were super efficient and very reasonable. We will only trust them with future plumbing needs. 10 out of 10!

I hired this company and was initially unhappy with the service. I brought my concerns to their office and they went above and beyond in resolving my concerns and therefore have earned five stars due to their apparent dedication to customer service.

I paid Maurice (aka Mr. Super Plumber) to do a plumbing job for me that took him all day to do. He promised to come back the following weekend because he needed an extra part to secure the pipe to the sink. The following weekend came, he gave me an excuse how he couldn't travel from DC to Baltimore because his mom surprised him and came in town. I was understanding and rescheduled with him the next Saturday. I called him today to confirm tomorrow's appointment and he gave me an excuse how he has no transportation to Baltimore (personal problem, not mine) to finish the job. Meanwhile, he was paid to do a service that he didn't complete. Now, I have to hire another plumber to finish the work. On top of that, (Maurice aka Mr. Super Plumber) spilled purple PVC primer all over my kitchen floor and now I have to pay someone to redo my floors because everyone knows that the plumbing primer stains on contact. He is a scammer and slick talker who doesn't honor commitments Please don't waste your money, energy, or time. Above all, he is full of excuses, is not prompt with returning calls, and will give you the run around. I added the pictures on Yelp to show proof since I was unable to post it to this thread

I received a letter from WSSC indicating I needed to get a Backflow Inspection at my property. Durance Plumbing was super responsive, and professional. Walter came out and was so informative and helpful! If you need an easy to work with backflow inspection service you can trust, definitely go with Durance Plumbing! I would 10/10 recommend.

Charles or Fred or Frederick whatever he wants to be called that day...Oh and his team came into my apt and messed my stuff up. He and his team are not professional at all!!! They did not clean up after themselves, broke my George Foreman grill (did not replace or apologize), and did not properly install my tub/shower. I do not recommend him to anybody at all. I would not hire him to build and/or even fix a doll house!!

The plumbing service provided excellent assistance. The plumber was knowledgeable, friendly, and fixed the issue with my plumbing system efficiently. I appreciate their professionalism and expertise.

The difference between basic service and exceptional service is the willingness of the service provider to support your unique situation. In my case I was preparing my condo for sale and needed a plumbing inspection I could not be present to review. The 4 Fast representative came to my place, conducted the inspection, filled out the paperwork, and texted me an image of the final form. Their willingness to work with me and around the scheduled sale of my home made a huge difference! I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

WL Gary proudly says they've been in service for 120 years but they still never learned how to work with customers.

My advice to you before you work with this company is to ask for a free estimate. This way you can get a quote on how much it will cost and their recommendation so that you can compare it with other companies. If they don't provide a free estimate, other companies will. Take your hard earn money else where.

I made a mistake of having them come without asking for a free estimate. They failed to let me know that the visit will cost money, they failed to tell me that there will be a service charge, and they failed to tell me what their rate is. I ended up having to pay for their visit despite: (1) never telling me what their rates and service charges are or that there will be one and (2) giving me the wrong diagnosis and wrong recommendation.

I was having water leaks because of condensation. WL Gary recommended I replace the whole HVAC unit and hungrily wanted to charge me $4,000+ and that this was the only way. I had another company come give me a free estimate and this other company said I just needed to replace the insulation around my pipes for $300+ and adjust my water pan. I decided to go with the other company and have the insulation replaced. After replacing my insulation and adjusting my water pan, it fixed my leak 100%.

After their poor customer service which was a huge red flag for me and lack of interest in giving back money they charged me for doing nothing other than give me a wrong recommendation, I am really glad I did not trust WL Gary.

Beware of this company and make sure you get a free estimate from different companies.
