Best Water Pipe Leak in Washington DC

There was a gas leak in my stove gas line. I called #1DMV Plumbing and Dwayne was there within the hour. He turned off the gas then came back to replaced the line the next morning. He was responsive and professional.

Mr Jenkins is absolutely wonderful. Came out quickly to fix a valve in my bathroom. He explained the problem and fixed it right there. What a nice guy too! Thanks so much for your help!

Affordable plumbing and gas has became my go to plumber. I’m an older fellow and have been very careful during this pandemic. I can tell you these young gentleman took all precautions to being around me and keeping everything clean. Also they treated me with respect in addressing me as “sir” and excusing themselves for not shaking my hand. It’s those little things that set them apart from other businesses I’ve used. Also they truly take care of their community and offer discounts to those who have served which is always appreciated. Affordable rates and respect, great combination.

Stan came out to look at our catch basin of our newly purchased home that had accumulated debris at the bottom of our driveway over the years. It needed some work since the previous owners didn't maintain it well, but he gave us a fair (and free) estimate for the job. We chatted about how catch basins worked, how to mitigate future issues, and background of his occupation. He was personable, professional, and made the overall experience very pleasant. I referred my neighbor to them, and they're working out there as we speak, which reminded me to write this review.

2021 They did another excellent job for me unstopping a stubborn drain. Very honest and reasonable. Character is important with this company.

My new faucet worked really well. They check if the hot/ cold water was running and for leakage etc before leaving. Great and excellent customer service and I will use again in the future.

I can not say enough about these guys. They have excellent prices and are very knowledgeable. We had a water main break in our front yard and we had other estimates from bigger companies that were charging much more plus the other companies seemed less invested. They also explain everything so you understand what is going on and what is the best way to go about fixing the issue.
