Recommended by my dad's coworker. These guys do awesome, professional work and are willing to show what needs to be done, how much it would cost, and why it's necessary without inflating the price or saying useless jargon that make no sense.

Called On-Call tech at 6am to take care of emergency plumbing, and the tech immediately responded. The On-Call tech showed up within minutes of my location in Virginia. The Tech was even mindful to take his shoes off before entering the space! The tech took care of the issue by locating the shut off valve, which I would have never found, turned off the water which had been running for hours to avoid any flooding issues. The Tech provided courteous service and was very professional in resolving the issue which included providing any parts to complete the task. This company installed a three unit mini-split AC unit for my upstairs bedroom. Our central HVAC couldn’t cool the upstairs to make sleeping comfortable in the hot months. Service and quality was exceptional. Highly recommend this contractor.

Keston's is amazing. We had a pretty complex problem that required a new shower pan and tiling, plus repair to some pipes in the living room ceiling below and repair of a giant hole in the ceiling as a result of another plumber's inability to find the issue.

Ken was friendly and thorough in his assessment of the issue. He told me the job would take 2-3 days, and he and his subcontractors finished in a day and a half! They also left every area immaculate and were careful to cover the floors and furniture. What's more, they befriended my dog and were considerate of my son's nap by walking and talking quietly during that time. Their price was reasonable and even more so after the quality of their work and general pleasantness of the experience. We will absolutely hire them again.

Sean was knowledgeable and professional. I am finishing my basement and I needed a professional to run plumbing to our future bathroom appliances. He noticed something a previous plumber missed. My bathroom was below the level of the street drain and the home builders had roughed in space for a pump. Without that, nothing in the bathroom would work! He also showed me how my sprinkler valve had a clear sign on it to replace it every 5 years (it had been 10!) and he taught me how to clean my A/C p-trap. Of course I hired him. The work was done in a day and they left the place cleaner than it started.

Very pleased the service from 4 Fast Plumber today. I made the request late last night, after business hours, around 7PM to Mike, he responded quickly, and was here by 9AM, even showed up a few minutes early. The job ended up being more complicated than expected, but he honored the original quote. I can definitely recommend for your plumbing needs!

Sila is always quick to respond when we have an emergency issue. The expert they usually send, Roger, is always very friendly and helpful.

Plumber in DC failed to do the work properly, and then kept the money after their work failed. I had a leaking faucet in a bathroom. Plumber came out, claimed that the faucet needed to be tightened, and did so. A few days later a larger leak began to occur under the sink in the same place. After paying around $400 for the faucet repair, they said that they had been incorrect about the problem and that the faucet would need to be replaced, which they would do at discount for an additional $400. I told them no and that I wanted my money refunded, minus the visit fee. They refused. After weeks of back and forth, they claimed they would refund a small portion of the cost, less than half of what I had paid them. They then never refunded it and began dodging my calls. End of story, I paid $400 for absolutely nothing. I wouldn't trust them.

This is my go-to for plumbing and heating in DC. The workers are very familiar with old houses and related issues. Reasonable prices and fast service!

I had an issue I couldn't fix on my own with all three valves in my three shower handles. I contacted a few other companies first and they either ignored my requests outright, demanded way too much money or said they weren't interested in the job. I regret not calling Ruth Plumbing first. Ephrem Mekonen responded to me immediately and came to my house within hours. He was polite, professional, courteous, efficient and very reasonably priced. He also voluntarily cleaned up after himself, a rarity these days. I hope I don't ever need a plumber again but if I do I'm going to call Ruth.
