Have had three jobs done in past couple years by A1 -- Corey replaced a toilet flange; Bert installed a kitchen fauct; Zach M. helped diagnose a crawlspace leak from a failing tub faucet assembly and Kyle replaced the assembly the next day, a prompt follow-on performance. All of the work performed has been outstanding. Every plumber has been courteous, thorough, and explained what they've found at each step and possible paths forward. Could not recommend more. I had a whole house generator installed. I’m not sure about the entire company because this is my one and only experience with them. That being said, at the end of the day it’s the people who come to your house to actually do the work that make or break a job. The two guys who came to my house John Laucella and Noah Cross were some of the best guys I’ve ever had come do work at my house. I bought a house with a fair amount of problems a year ago and have had multiple crews here doing all kinds of work and almost always something is done wrong or very sloppy. These guys were a breath of fresh air. They actually knew what they were doing and did very clean, neat, high quality craftsmanship. Just about the only time I have felt comfortable leaving while someone was working on my house. If you have work done with American mechanical I highly recommend you ask for these two guys I got lucky.

We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. Super fast and affordable electrical service.

Todd is a very professional and knowledgeable plumber. He is our go to plumber whenever there's an issue. Have used him several times for leaking pipes and backed up drains. Prices are reasonable too! Thanks Todd for all your help! Would recommend and continue to use him for any plumbing problems!

I purchased a house to remodel for resale. The project included relocating a full bathroom, adding a full bathroom, adding a half bath, adding a laundry room, updating the kitchen, and relocating two gas lines. I got 5 quotes for the project and although ALI-COR was not the low bidder, they were indeed the best deal. The workmanship throughout the project was first class all the way. They worked closely with me to coordinate my work with theirs. Jason was always available during their scope of work. About a month after they had completed the work, I had a 4 cast Iron pipe crack in the house I live in. I only made one call because I wanted it done correctly. They quoted me a fair price however when they arrived, I had already removed the plaster wall and insulation around the pipe. They replaced the pipe and because I have done some of the work, they reduced the quoted price paying me for the work I had done. I was a pleasure working with them on both projects. I am glad to see a young company with such high values and standards enter the market place.

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.

I just had a Goodman Heat and Air unit installed by their installer. We recognized right away he had many years experience and knew what he was doing. Even though, we shrugged at the expense of a new unit, having priced them already, he was able to privide us with a well known product at a much lower cost and installed it less than 24 hours later.
