We found our dryer vent had separated from the machine and a repair would require a trip to the crawl space. I had called my “usual” place about 8 times and they said they wouldn’t get to my problem for more than a week. I found good reviews on ZLine and had a tremendous experience all around. Theresa at reception listed well, gave me all the options, scheduled me, and even called me to get some service to me earlier than originally planned.
Terry was fantastic. He arrived early- was exceptionally kind and respectful and explained the problem and options for repair. Turns out the original installation was incorrect, and he was able to install new plumbing and even fix a hole in my wall left by my aforesaid “usual” guys. I felt their charges were very reasonable for the energy expended.

Even noticed that my upstairs window needed a touch up of paint, so he went ahead and repainted it while he was there. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future.

Received an estimate that was so overpriced it was laughable! They either did not want to do the job or thought I had the word “Sucker” on my forehead.

I was looking for someone to install a Range Hood for my family member. He was having trouble finding both reliability and fair pricing between handymen, electricians, etc. I came across Z Line looking up Yelp and Google Reviews. It ended up being one of the best finds I can speak of and will be using them going forward in the future. Very professional, takes pride in the work and does the job correctly.

Outstanding Workmanship. This TV Mount had many installation challenges such as the weight of the bracket/tv, centering the unit and interferences such as electrical outlets. Z-Line carefully planned the installation prior to hanging the wall mount and the project was completed successfully. Most impressively, Z Line cleaned up all debris during and after the this job. I highly recommend Z line for any home project.

As the first pictures show our bathroom needed a upgrade, we got quotes from different companies and this company definitely wasn’t the cheapest but was a reasonable price (because you get what you pay for ) and the assistance from Chris Chierici through the process made us go with them. Very respectful people Chris smith was working for 2 weeks in this changes and always was professional and nice. We absolutely love the results. Installed extra insulation in attic and replace screening on attic vents. Removed old kitchen exterior vent and patched; repaired exterior storm damage to wall; installed exterior wire tv cable supports, repaired/replaced exterior trim boards.... just to name a few....generally got my honey-do list back under control. Team of 2, with good attention to detail. Courteous, quick and patient.

We called Z Line after discovering storm damage from Hurricane Ian.. Although it took a week to get someone out to evaluate and estimate damages,, once on the scene Tim started right away. They replaced the Soffits on the rear of my house. Very polite & on time, text messages when on the way to Job, finished in a timely manner cleaned up area after repairs very satisfied recommend giving them a trial.

Terry and Tim installed two ceiling fans in our bedrooms and did a great job. They couldn’t install our bathroom fans because we had purchased the wrong size. We purchased new fans that didn’t fit 100% correctly either but Zach came over and did a great job installing them including repairing the ceiling around the new fans. Kris did an excellent job repairing a few dents and nicks on my exterior door frame. I had furniture delivered and the delivery men hit my door frame with furniture. I called Zline a few days later and they were able to squeeze me in. Kris was able to give me a quote and fix my door frame on the spot. I have finally found a handyman service that I feel comfortable with. Zack actually arrived early to perform the work. He repaired some drywall in my master bathroom and installed kitchen cabinet doors for me. He was professional and friendly. He did amazing work, and I would recommend this company to anyone that seeks great service for a reasonable price.

I called them and they got back to me that afternoon in regard to the hole in wall behind my sink. They called me the next day with estimate and I accepted it and two days later they fixed it. Did a great job. Very nice people. Will use them again. Very efficient. Very nice.

I called Z line out to possibly do some work for me on my Corian counter top that needed to be cut for me to fit my new washer and dryer. Timothy was on time answered any questions I had and got me a quote quickly. I approved and he got right to work on putting up dust protection to keep everywhere clean and finished the scope of work quickly. Finished product came out great no mess to clean up. We had an unfortunate experience with Home Depot's no hassle install after purchasing a new dishwasher. Our previous homeowners had tiled in the old dishwasher so it couldn't be removed and they couldn't/wouldn't do tile work. We put it off because we were dreading going through the process of getting estimates, etc. I am so glad we called Z Line and I wish we had done it sooner. We got a text message notification upon arrival that included a photo of the employee who would be doing the work, which I appreciated. Terry was on time, super nice, and did a great job switching out the dishwashers, cutting and installing the tile, and matching our existing grout. His coworker who joined him was also kind and thorough. We were so impressed we even asked them to look at two more side projects for the future before they left.

Based on a friend’s recommendation, I contacted Z Line to get an estimate for installation of grab bars in our Main shower. I already had an estimate from another company but wanted a second opinion. I do most of the small projects on my house but wasn’t comfortable drilling into my tile shower walls for fear of ruining some beautiful tile work. Z Line sent Michael Bein to give me an estimate and to do the work if we accepted the written estimate.
Mike looked the job over, talked about how he would install the bars without risking my tile and then gave me an acceptable estimate.
He was very courteous and professional, plus confident and made my wife and I comfortable that he could do the job correctly. The job was completed perfectly! I’ll certainly use him again if needed and I’m recommending Z Line for anyone that needs handyman services. They do a myriad of small jobs and can schedule a timely estimate.

We had Terry and Tim work on our house. We could not be more pleased. They are hard working, kind and detailed oriented. I appreciate they cleaned up after project as well.
We had some water damage due to the storm after something was fixed and they sealed everything up tight for us so we won’t have worries in the future. They even secured some siding that flew off with the storm without us even asking. We will be hiring this company again and recommend them highly.

Terry was great. We had an old downdraft range that we were replacing with a new one that does not require a downdraft. He removed it and patched up the vent and placed the new range. Within 24 hours of requesting service to hang shades and rods Z Line was at my door. As Edward was hanging the shades, he noticed there was flooding on the lower level of the house from the heavy rain that day. He called another handyman from Z Line to come over and assess the situation, check the crawl, and make recommendations as to what could be done to prevent this from happening in the future. Edward continued hanging the shades even with the flooding, and offered to help me clean up the water even though that was not the job he came by to do. They truly went above and beyond. I will definitely be using Z Line in the future and recommending them to everyone I know in the Norfolk area who may be in need of their services.

So to start with I'm gunna say Z-line were not only professional and punctual, they ensure the job is done right. I had my dryer vent ducting replaced due to it originally collecting water and dripping on to the cieling of my master bedroom. Z-line came out replaced my ducting and repainted my waterstained cieling. I did have a issue with the original duct replacement but I called back to z-line to see if they would fix it. The owner of the company personally came out to assess the problem and rectified it himself fully honoring the warranty they provide for services rendered. 10/10 calling them back for future repairs and projects. Special shoutout to the receptionist Theresa for making sure we were taken care of promptly!

Someone came to my home one month ago but I never received a quote. I even called a couple times two weeks later and was told that they would reach out as soon as possible to give me an update. Never heard back. If you're unable to do the job then at least have the courtesy to let me know. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Don't use them!

After dealing with a different construction company it was so refreshing to have an honest company that performs good quality work. Zack did an excellent job, worked hard to find material that matched what was existing. Always kept us updated with progress through his office. Completely satisfied with his work. Hope to find work around the house to be able to use his company again.

Teresa went out of her way to make sure everything was completed while I had time off from work. Terry was my professional that worked on my house - the home itself was just flipped but is a 1914 four by four home. Terry evaluated and installed insulation under our kitchen and house via the crawl space, fixed master bedroom door that couldn’t shut because it didn’t reach latch - ingenious solution that looks amazing and you couldn’t tell it wasn’t meant to be that way. The house has age old wood embellishments and a style that Terry met in all his custom solutions. It required cutting the door due to the walls not being plum nor the floor fully absent of raised bumps. All that said, he went above and beyond giving each job of 4 detailed attention and the time required to do a great job. The finishing touches we needed really came to fruition after each day of work (total 3) Terry worked. Would definitely use them again.

Called to get an estimate for cutting countertop to fit a new range. Theresa worked hard to get us the help we needed as soon as possible. Terry arrived the same day and within a short time the counter was cut and the new range installed. Price was reasonable too. We will definitely consider using ZLine again when we need handyman services - Highly Recommended.

Hired Z Line to replace some privacy fencing and repair a gate. He sent estimate online & we accepted easily. He came on time the date work was scheduled with all tools & materials. His work was very nicely done, he cleaned up behind himself & verified all details with us to make sure he was giving us exactly what we wanted. His finished work looks so nice & we are very happy with the results. We will recommend Z Line without hesitation. Everything about dealing with Z Line was a good experience.

Bottom line, ZLine is a top notch company. The entire process from initial discussion, estimating, planning l, scheduling was smooth and efficient (all done online). We were kept informed & updated on everything from receiving a detailed estimate, being able to invoice/pay securely online, to even sending text and emails when the team was in route. The work(dry wall and trim repair/replacement) was excellent. When everything was completed the area where the work was done looked as if no one was ever there-spotless. I highly recommend ZLine and we will continue to use them as part of our home care team going forward.

We called Z Line to install safety bars in my mother's bathrooms. We also had some caulking done and a new faucet installed in her kitchen. Tim came over on monday to give us a quote and we were able to get the work scheduled and completed 2 days later. Tim was very professional, friendly, and did quality work. He was very knowledgeable and cleaned the areas up well when he was finished. The only neg thing that I could say is that we were given an 8 am start time, and he arrived shortly after 9. To me, that is not a big deal. The proof is on the pudding, and Tim did a great job! There are several things that my mother would like to have done around here home, and we will definitely be calling Z Line again.

Timothy did an outstanding job with numerous tasks at my home, including rescreening my porch and adding much needed new trim. In addition, my front door threshold was repaired and painted. He was friendly, professional, hardworking and communicated well during the process. I would hire again.
