JR was excellent with the hybrid water heater install. Other plumbing companies had never installed one or didn't have a ton of interest in performing the job. JR also helped me determine where a water main shutoff valve could be installed, which will probably end up saving me $2000 on a water softener install.

Did a great job and work with my mother in every kind of way to say her some money on the install, and I would recommend their service to anyone that needs a plumber…

Replaced my grandmothers AC but didn’t check the lines and it turns out they leak. When she informed them they wanted to run new lines through her foundation and charge her another $3,000. Unfortunate for an elderly person to run out of coolant when it’s very hot.

I've been battling sewage backup for weeks and have had multiple people out. Hudson Plumbing was great and gave it their best efforts, but needed the line hydro jetted. Matt came and got it all cleared and checked the entire line all the way to the city main with their camera. There was a big stoppage of paper and waste close to the city main. Woohoo!!!!! We are up and running again! Roto Rooter quoted me $3000 saying I needed a trackhoe and dig up 8 feet down to replace the line. We did not! If you need your line cleared, use Charlie's Rooter! Never call Roto rooter! Matt had it done in 30 minutes or less

Excellent communication, service and installation

I’ve used Alert Plumbing for years and have always been very pleased with Steve Ross for the 5 or 6 times I had used Alert in the past. However he wasn’t available to repair my frozen main waterline so Kevin Avey was sent. I knew it was going to be expensive but with my past experience with Alert I knew it was going to be less than other plumbing companies.

Kevin showed up on time, both to diagnose the problem and when he rescheduled to fix it. He repaired the line without issue and also repaired a problem in my irrigation system without even asking me.

I feel very fortunate that Kevin was the one assigned to my project because of other unforeseen and serious issues concerning a hot water tank in a new addition to the house. It would require great expense to repair it and also possible damage to the foundation and wall. Not only that, he redid the incorrect way a plumber added the new bathroom addition’s water supply into the house.

Instead of fixing the hot water tank issue at great expense, Kevin came up with a fantastic alternative that greatly benefited me. Since he knew that I had wanted tankless water heaters for years but didn’t want to spend the money and since I had already paid his company a lot for the water line repair, he sold me two top of the line tankless water heaters for thousands of dollars less than what the typical cost would have been. This savings doesn’t even include my gas company’s rebate for buying these two new gas appliance.

If all that wasn’t enough, he even shared half of his Domino’s lunch that had just been delivered!!! I definitely give Kevin and Alert Plumbing, along with his assistant Sean, FIVE STARS!

My tub has a crack and I called to have it fixed. He said I needed a new tub and that it would take about 2 days to complete the job. I got the crack in my tub sealed as a temporary fix and he said he would call back next week to see when I was available. I never got a call back. I called and the lady answered and said he would call me back the next day. I waited a few days, still no call. So I called and she gave me attitude saying he didnt know when I was available. I told her if he would have called he would have known when I was available. All of this happened in the end of November. I was rescheduled for the second week of December. This appointment he supposedly forgot. I offered to call the other number and schedule an appointment but he assured me that he would show up and fix my tub. On the day we scheduled I called and he said we had forgotten. Now my tub won't be fixed until the beginning of the year.

Save yourself some time and energy and go with a plumbing company that is professional and cares enough to not waste your time.
