We discovered we had a leak in one of the upstairs bathrooms that was dripping through to the downstairs. Andrew was able to quickly get out to our home and pinpoint the source of the leak with the least amount of damage possible. Andrew and Jacob were then able to get the necessary repairs made and everything back to working like new. We definitely appreciate how fast the whole process was and that damage was able to be minimized.

Alert replaced our near century old water line. We heard about them through a neighbor. We called, and Kevin came out promptly. He obviously knew what had to be done and contacted us the next day with pricing. He told us what would happen and that it would be done in one day. They arrived on time and were well coordinated. There were no delays; they were prepared for everything! Upon completion, and before leaving, they checked every water outlet in the system. The results are amazing; we have lived here for over sixty years and have never had water pressure like this. We wiuld recommend Alert without reservation. They were a very professional group from beginning to end. Two of the crew helped a lot with getting everything just right. Gas leak, my gas lines were in the slab of my home.. I wanted old lines cap off and disconnected and the whole house repipe gas lines through the Attic. First estimate company 'W` solution 'Alertthought outside the box solution equal quality better value less time zero damage more efficient keep in mind if one situation is different mine was out of 53% savings from company w I thought some years back different home and situation when I used company 'W' they didn't think outside the box nor did they think outside the box years later meaning now so it's there core in their culture not to think outside the box. Hat off to Andrew and his apprentice both kept me informed walk me through the process pass me on to the next contact I needed to know with my gas reconnected thank so much.

I have had a bathroom sink drain blockage and have had several people out to look at the issue in the last few months, and the last person left a leaking pipe underneath in addition to the existing problem. Bryant from Alert came out and was fast (less than the 20 minutes he promised from the time he called til he arrived, and then less than an hour on site to fix the issue) and efficient. The issues are resolved and he advised me on the best way to avoid lasting damage due to the leak before he left. Polite and professional, I highly recommend Bryant for any plumbing issues!

Bryant was awesome! He help us push our car out of traffic this morning. He was very efficient and professional and he wasn't even on the job yet. This goes to show the type of people Alert Plumbing and Drain has working for them. They hire efficient and professional people. I will definitely consider Alert Plumbing and Drain for the next time my house has drain plubing or drain issues.

We found ourselves in the unenviable position of having 7-year old pex that failed. After the 9th leak in a short period of time, we opted to replace all the pex for the whole house. Again. Alert did not do the first installation, unfortunately, or there probably would have been no need to replace it. Kevin and Brian spent three days taking out all the old pex and replacing it. It was three days of noise and inconvenience and mess, but it’s done. They were very professional and efficient and and I’m confident that they did a good job. A big plus is that now, instead of waiting several minutes for hot water at any faucet, we now have it within seconds. We discovered Alert a few months ago and were very pleased with their ability to locate and repair pex leaks. Fingers crossed that this is the final step in this process. Thank you Alert. I also plan to switch my HVAC service to Alert.

I’ve used alert three times in the last year. Once was emergency water leak and they responded on a Saturday within one hour. These guys are top notch, educate you on your options and do excellent work. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed in the work from Alert. Specifically with Steve. He repaired an outdoor plumbing leak, but a few weeks later the leak had returned and my lawn was soaked again. When I called to report it and wanted him to just take a look, he insisted that it had nothing to do with his fix and raised his voice to me on the phone saying he wouldn’t come out to double check his work without getting paid again. When I had another person come inspect the leak, I found that the piece that had been replaced by Steve was faulty and had a crack in it. I was very disappointed in not only the workmanship, but the way the situation was handled. I didn’t expect such a disrespectful reaction at the idea of coming to re-inspect his work since it had only been a few weeks since the leak was supposedly repaired. I was even more disappointed to find that there was a crack in the plumbing piece that Alert had just replaced either from poor material or over tightening when the piece was installed. I had heard positive reviews of Alert previously, but can’t continue to recommend based on my personal experience.

The plumber was courteous, punctual, and professional. He took the time to let my dog get acquainted with him so that the process would be a lot less stressful for me, and my dog. I will definitely call them again.

I’ve used Alert Plumbing for years and have always been very pleased with Steve Ross for the 5 or 6 times I had used Alert in the past. However he wasn’t available to repair my frozen main waterline so Kevin Avey was sent. I knew it was going to be expensive but with my past experience with Alert I knew it was going to be less than other plumbing companies.

Kevin showed up on time, both to diagnose the problem and when he rescheduled to fix it. He repaired the line without issue and also repaired a problem in my irrigation system without even asking me.

I feel very fortunate that Kevin was the one assigned to my project because of other unforeseen and serious issues concerning a hot water tank in a new addition to the house. It would require great expense to repair it and also possible damage to the foundation and wall. Not only that, he redid the incorrect way a plumber added the new bathroom addition’s water supply into the house.

Instead of fixing the hot water tank issue at great expense, Kevin came up with a fantastic alternative that greatly benefited me. Since he knew that I had wanted tankless water heaters for years but didn’t want to spend the money and since I had already paid his company a lot for the water line repair, he sold me two top of the line tankless water heaters for thousands of dollars less than what the typical cost would have been. This savings doesn’t even include my gas company’s rebate for buying these two new gas appliance.

If all that wasn’t enough, he even shared half of his Domino’s lunch that had just been delivered!!! I definitely give Kevin and Alert Plumbing, along with his assistant Sean, FIVE STARS!

Update to my above review....I had spoken to a couple of neighbors that had just used other plumbing services, the price they were quoted was the price they paid. When I used Alert Plumbing they said if I used a credit card I would have to pay an extra $53.00, which I thought was normal practice - but I found out from neighbors the companies they used did not charge a c/c fee ! So if you are paying cash or check, no fee, so unfortunately as much as I really liked them, I will be using another plumbing company from now on...

These guys are top notch. I’m doing a full remodel of my kitchen and master bath. House is on a slab so lots of difficult trenching and labor running lines to tub, showers, vanities, kitchen island, etc. Installed tankless water heater, gas to stove, etc, etc. there’s nothing these guys couldn’t handle. They were fast and very helpful in helping me make decisions on the fly. Had several good ideas to improve my final product. Available and responsive for questions along the way. You can tell the new ownership has this outfit running on all cylinders. Highly recommend.

Kevin and Brian were extremely helpful in getting my house back up to par almost the same day as a gas leak was revealed, even going so far as to find other issues that I was not aware of and getting them resolved the same day. Great guys and would recommend them for any job!

I’vd had two plumbing issues in 6 months. I called Alert both times. Affordable, reliant, effective. Their professionalism and efficiency impressed me so much that merely paying the quoted rate — and not tipping the contractors (I.e., Noah and Josh) who stood in the heat, combed through the junk in my garage, and fixed complex problems I didn’t know existed, all while being stand up guys with positive attitudes — felt wrong. My only issue with Alert is that (at the time of this review) they don’t have a system for customers to tip contractors on credit card transactions. I will always call Alert, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to carry cash to pay for what the service is worth. Y’all are outstanding, but please help the people who made me a loyal customer!

These guys rock! They quickly found the source of the leak. Behind the bathroom vanity wall at the slab level. Through the slab and under the vanity to repair. Completely repaired in less than four hours. Very happy customer.

Great service and easy to schedule. Justin and the other plumber made short work of installing the new water heater. They charged by the hour for the job and saved me over $700 versus what three other plumbing companies wanted to do the same work.

After another plumber failed to show up, I called Alert Plumbing and they scheduled a service call first thing the next morning. Fair prices based on work that is completed competently. Already have plans to use them again.

Yes it can be difficult to explain exactly what the problem is and works to be done. Always remember that there is more than one way to do something. Best to avoid unnecessary work. The work around of using a coupling for the tube overflow did solve the issue particularly. Did not have to remove tile backer to fasten 2 x 4 lumber, for alcove support. Request that every contractor to be international code council member, purchase desired code manual’s, pay for exams (1 year expiration). Regardless if the contractor passes certification, I would still hire. Certification is for 3 years.

Rodney and his team put in a totally new air conditioning system in our home about a month ago, in a home that is 80 years old and never had it before. They installed an individual unit per room. It was done professionally and in the time frame they said. When done they cleaned their work areas and showed us how to operate the units. Been a great experience and definitely will call them in the future.

Thier drivers are too busy for me to consider using this company. Tailgaiting at 10 over posted speed limit followed by passing two vehichles on an off ramp so you can get one car space ahead in morning traffic jam. This type of unproffesional behaviour will ensure neither I or any company I represent will be using this service.

The plumber that repaired our leak was great! We received quotes from other companies that wanted to dig to repair the clogged line, but the plumber vacuumed the overflow and was able to find the clean out valve! I had alert install the plumbing to my entire new house. As far as that goes, it works. As far a must water heater goes it’s been broken for over 3 weeks now and they have been beyond lackadaisical to fix it. After having them out 4 times the issues still hasn’t been resolved but gotten worse. They said the new part would be delivered to my house no later then Thursday (they told me that on a Tuesday) well it’s Monday evening and haven’t heard a word from them and no part has arrived. I would go ahead and skip this company and try one of the many many others out there. Larry the owner is no help what does ever .

It always sucks to call a plumber, especially after I’ve already tried all my own tool first with no success. In those times of frustration, Alert Plumbing has always come through for us, and in a much more timely manor than the other, bigger companies. Our usual technician is Steve. He always knows just what to do, and he always has a healthy dose of tough advice for us, because he tells it like he sees it. I would never use anyone else but Steve Rose.
