Like other reviewers said, get charged from the time they dispatch the call and the price they charge per hour is way over priced, especially sense it took them 40 minutes to get to my house. They did 10 minutes worth of work just to tell me that it would cost over 1000 dollars just to replace one valve and I would have to pay another company to patch the drywall. I did the repair myself for 130 dollars worth of parts. I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know to not use them.

Set an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate for some plumbing repairs on a house in Tampa, was told a plumber would be there some time between 10 and 12. Around 10:30, I got a text saying the plumber assigned to my job had taken another job in Dade City that morning and would likely be late getting to my house (great planning!), but definitely no later than 12:30. I explained I was on a tight schedule and needed to keep the time agreed to, but I'd wait until 12:30.
Sure enough, 12:30 rolls around with no plumber. I texted my contact and told them I was done waiting and would find another plumber. The reply I got was No problem, thanks for the opportunity. Not that an apology would have made a big difference at that point, but it seemed pretty childish to not take ownership of their scheduling issues.

Your Technician Ted made my new year. As a brand new restaurant owner on New Year’s Eve our plumbing went down. We called no less than 15 other plumbers before we called Alvarez Plumbing. All of which said it would be Tuesday. If not for Ted (the greatest plumber of all time) and his friend Jacob our new business would have lost 3 days worth of sales. We will never use anyone else. Ted drove over 60 miles when local plumbers said no way, not today. Thanks guys, we hope you truly have a blessed year! You deserve it.

Marc has been incredible ever since being referred to him. Never meeting or speaking prior to being referred, he was willing to talk me through an issue at my place and help me get it fixed. I just used him again, on a future property for an inspection. This involved snaking with cameras, giving me peace of mind before our move. Super thorough, detailed, no short cuts. Our issue in the shower was pretty simple and Jerry fixed it easily. I then decided, based on his character and honesty, to have our old garbage disposal and hot water heater replaced, something that was on our list for awhile. I cannot say enough about this young man and his work ethic. We are really happy with our experience with them. Brad, the sales rep was very helpful and gave us a competitive quote for a full house replumbing job. He also added some extra services for us like changing out some problematic faucets and installation of our existing water softener. The plumbers were professional and did a good job with everything while minimizing the mess. They had to send a plumber back twice to complete the water softer installation for me until we had all the necessary parts. John did a great job with getting it all done for us . This was a huge job and a big investment for us. Overall we are happy we went with a reputable company and would recommend them to others.

Steve kept in contact with us either by direct phone or through the office. We appreciated the communication. It allowed us to better use our time when he was unable to arrive to do service for us as originally scheduled.His courtesy was appreciated. He was courteous and helpful with his knowledge.Something else---he seems to be a kind person!

Excellent. Cleveland was extremely professional and knew what the problem was immediately. I'm fortunate he came. I would want him to fix any future problems
