This is my third time using R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services. I had a leak from my upstairs bathtub and sent in a request through Thumbtack on Christmas Eve. As expected from past experience, they were very responsive and gave me an appointment on Monday after Christmas. The technician, David, arrived on time and fully explained what he needed to do to diagnose the problem before and during troubleshooting. Once he located the source of the leak, he got me a quote on the repair. Due to the holiday, no plumbing supply stores were open, so he gave me an appointment for the very next morning. Another technician, also named David and his assistant arrived and, again, were very courteous, explaining their progress at various points during the repair, including dealing with having to go out and buy a part the plumbing supply had omitted from the kit. Once they completed the repair, they performed a test it to make sure there were no more leaks and instructed me to allow the supplemental caulking in the shower to fully cure for a few hours before using the shower. R.P.S. Ribbs provides quality service at a fair price and all the technicians I have dealt with the three times I have used them have provided outstanding customer service. I will continue to use R.P.S. for all my plumbing needs!

They did a great job re-piping our town house. Very responsible; they promptly came back to patch a drywall cutout they missed (inside a cabinet) even after we paid them. I wish all contractots are like them!

I had several SJ Water bills which were 4 times more expensive than what it used to be before Covid. I found out that a possible leak is not from the street to the house but from the house main valve towards the property. Anthony came and thoroughly inspected the property and recommended installing an additional backyard valve leading to the pool which wasn't possible to control, and found the water pressure from the utility company was 138PSI - 75% more than maximum allowed pressure to the house!!! , he then installed a pressure regulator and regulated the pressure down to 70PSI. After these repairs there's no leaks in the system anymore. What a great job, highly recommended!!

I looked at multiple plumbing companies through San Jose who were able to apply for building permits and found Shark Plumber to offer the most competitive price and fair. I needed to install a utility sink in my unit and it required going through a condo board that wasn't very helpful. Shark plumber was very responsive and helpful through this process, they answered and returned all my calls. The installation went smoothly and did not require any rescheduling. I received a couple of huge water bills from the city, so I called Freedom to see if they could help me figure out what was wrong. Turned out that I had a busted water main that was draining toward the street, so there were never any telltale puddles in my yard. Freddy gave me an estimate and got me on his schedule for the next week. Rain caused some delays, but they came on the next business day to install a temporary above-ground line so that I wouldn't be wasting water (and money). When they came out to do the repair, the crew was quick, did a great job, and kept my yard almost entirely intact. A few days after the main was replaced, I realized that my sprinklers weren't working, so I got back in touch and Freddy sent a couple guys out the next day to get those back online. Overall, my experience with Freedom Underground was very positive, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs to get some underground plumbing work done. Thanks, Freedom!

Not good at all. I was hopeful from reading all of the 5 star reviews but I had a bad experience. There was water damage around my toilet so I thought that it just needed a new wax seal and hose. They put in the wax seal and anchors but later that night the damage got worse!!! Started flooding our downstairs bathroom (below upstairs bathroom). They did not replace the super old hose and they didn’t notice that the top part of the toilet was leaking onto the old hose. Husband was able to replace the hose and part in top part of toilet easily.

We need to replace the toilet as a whole but we won’t be calling them

Jerry was exceptional to deal with. Prompt with initial response. Showed up within the time window quoted. He had a great attitude and was very personable. He went above and beyond to figure out what was happening with a fruit fly infestation after concluding that the drain cleaning that we called him for was not the cause of the issue. Reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be calling him again if we need plumbing help!

We worked with many plumbing companies in the past and I can say, without any hesitation, that Royal Plumbing is the best plumbing company we have ever worked with. They are really pros. They worked on our bathroom and finished the job without any issues and on time. When the inspector came, he said that everything is perfect. And this was a very complex job of replacing all the galvanized pipes in the house with copper, changing the toilet's drainage line and reconfiguring the piping system for a bathroom. Could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend them.

Our kitchen Garbage Disposal was *leaking*, so we called home warranty on 6/30 and was assigned to Platinum Rooter & Plumbing Inc. After waiting for two days, there was no response from this company for appointments. No one in this company answered the phone. I called the Home Warranty company many times, and on 7/2, I received a notification that the appointment was randomly assigned to 7/23 without consulting my calendar.

I am unable to tolerate a leaking Garbage Disposal in kitchen for 1 month. After multiple attempts, I finally reached out Platinum. The owner said they MUST go there on 7/23 to DETERMINE WHETHER to replace the garbage disposal. I asked whether I need to wait for another month after 7/23 for them to order a new garbage disposal, the owner literally told me it's highly possible.

I told the owner the garbage disposal must be replaced. He asked me, Are you a certificated plumber? I told him it was diagnosed by another plumber. I can send him pictures about the situation and model. The owner very rudely rejected any proposal to solve this problem quicker.

I said I would write a review of what I experienced publicly, he owner said, If you leave a bad review with no reason, I will dispute this service.
