Best Commercial Repiping in San Jose CA

Received notice that plumber was arriving early. I had asked that plumber bring a cold water shut-off valve for 1/2 copper pipe. I showed plumber where main water shut-off was and then took him to bathroom where faucet was leaking. Explained about valve for recirculating pump and that cold water shut-off valve would not close completely. He told me is was completely shut and that drip was from water left in pipe after turning it off. He quoted price for repairing leak and said it would be $127 to install the shut-off valve. It appeared to be a fixed rate regardless of what else he was doing. Since it was a 15 minute job or less to do this since other pipes would already be disconnected and he said it wasn't leaking it said no to price. After he fixed the leak, he told me the cold water shut-off would not shut down completely. I guess he didn't think I knew what I was talking about. The charge for a 45 maximum time to repair leak was $227. I won't be calling them again in future.

Called on a Saturday and was told that someone will be at our place by 5PM. Duy actually showed up before 5.
Our problem turned out to be a broken sewer pipe instead of just a clog.
We reached an agreement on what needed to be done. People were there the next day (a little later than expected but not too bad) to work on the repair. The job was not 100% completed until for a couple of weeks but it was due to the city not being able to send out inspectors soon enough. (Thanksgiving week probably didn't help.)
Overall: good communication, easy to deal with.

Very prompt and professional replacement of a failed hot water heater during lock-down.

The previous hot water heater had been installed by Home Depot and was still under warranty, so for us to be reimbursed it meant a few extra steps on their part but all was handled very clearly, safely, and professionally.

Senor Rooter is the best in business! Gilbert and his team do excellent work for a very fair price. Senor Rooter has done several big jobs for our house. First, they identified corroded waste lines and replaced our entire waste system to the main sewer to remove all the corroded metal pipes with clean high-quality PVC pipes, including convenient clean-out locations and the ability to add additional plumbing if needed in the future. They brought everything up to code. It was a really big job!

They also helped install a new washing machine connection and kitchen sink in a newly remodeled kitchenette for a rental unit. It turned out great! Adam came 2h late to assess onsite job (sink replacement in kitchen + filtration water). Despite being late with no heads-up, he clearly explained what needed to be done. Said he will send a quote within a week. So far so good.
Then total ghosting: I called 3 times the office 2 weeks apart each time to follow up on the quote, sent him text messages. Even asked in my last call to let me know if Adam is not interested in pursuing this work. Well, still nothing.
