Daniel showed up on time 9 a.m. Thursday, cleared out the tree roots that seem to be the cause of the clogged garage to street drain, and tested it afterward. The entire job was done in under an hour. Very professional. The job was done with 60 day service warranty (one service recall). My wife was very happy with the job performance.
The cost is high in my opinion at $365/hour. Daniel did tell my wife about the cost/hour upfront and the wife did agree to it. I am open to any correction on my perception on cost since I do not know current typical average rate. My prior data points were that these kind of jobs should be in the $100-150 range, and I am willing to pay up to $200.

These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. My line failed miserably and I ended up hiring them to replace my sewer line instead. They only charged me for the replacement! They were quick efficient and clean. I would do business with them again

After my experience hiring AB plumbing to repair my broken main shutoff valve. Going forward i will only call AB plumbing for any plumbing needs i have in the future. The price was good the service was great and the quality was top notch.

These are my go-to plumbers. Daniel is great, and so are his crew. I've used them a few times now, over the years for various issues. Here is why they are awesome:

- They'll fit you in the schedule promptly;
- They work on Saturdays (no taking time of work!!!!)
- They work quickly;
- They are personable and friendly;
- They are mindful not to scratch up your bathroom floors or tub enamel.
- They take care of hair and disgusting gunk, so you don't have to;
- They take what's broken and magically make it work.

And most importantly: I can take a shower now, without my feet taking a bath.

I had a clogged drain that I couldn't fix myself, so I searched and saw that Smelly Mel's was local and had good reviews. I filled out the online form (or at least, I think I did) but didn't hear from anyone by the next morning, so I called and someone was able to schedule a technician to come check out the situation. I asked what the price range would be, because I didn't know what to expect. She told me that the technician would give me a free estimate.

I would definitely recommend everyone to research prices before making an appointment, because I really didn't know what to expect and had a shock when I heard it would cost about $450 to clear out my pipes. Actually, the regular price is about $500 and it was $450 with a new customer discount.

The technician was punctual, very professional, and did a great job, as everything has been working perfectly since. It was also very easy to schedule service. I'm deducting one star because I think prices should be more upfront. There are no prices listed on their website, and as I noted earlier, when I called to schedule service I wasn't able to get pricing information in advance.

(Unrelated to this review, but maybe helpful to others: I found out later that my HOA has a service that could have done this without cost. Do your research!!)

Mo is amazing! Came by quickly and repaired my dishwasher. He figured out what was wrong and fixed it in 10mins. Definitely gonna give him a call again.

$385 for snaking a drain -- I called because they are located near by. The receptionist didn't give me a quote and said the technician will give me a free estimate. When the technician came and to snake my drain he wants $385! The heck is that. He claimed that's the price has been that high for sometime. Which I know it's bull. I negotiated to $825 and paid because I made time. The technician was a little wise guy too.

Patrick came out to handle a plumbing issue at Strands Salon. He was on time, professional and reasonable. I would use him again.
