Got multiple bids and not only did they have the best price for our water heater replacement, J&J were also the most professional. Knowledgeable and organized, I got a quote quickly (some of the others never even sent a quote after coming out to look… smh), great communications, modern systems (electronic invoicing etc). Isaac came, he did the work, did a great job. Just so professional and a pleasure to do business with, highly recommend!

I used O’Grady to replace the sewer trap to my building. They were very professional. Diagnosed the issue and showed me clearly with a camera what the issue was. Quality work and great team. Work was completed right on schedule.

Extremely high pricing. Wanted almost $2k to replace a washer hookup with a stuck valve. $750 of that was just to put the washer back and test it. Another $750 of that was to wait about an hour for the water to drain from the pipes. Wanted almost $300 to replace a water filter. And didn't show up on the day of appointment, was 27 hours later. Kept misstating when the plumber would arrive. Avoid, there are no free estimates, it costs you $85 just to have them show up at your door.

Had a running toilet which I quick-fixed with two bricks to stop it. A friend referred Discount Plumbing so I tried them. Scheduling was simple and the dispatcher friendly. Ricardo was our plumber. I was informed when he would arrive and he was on time, friendly and informative. I'm pleased with the work and put the bricks back in the yard!

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

I just had a great experience with Connor who came in and quickly assessed the problem and gave me straightforward advice on my problem. I trust him completely. I felt that he gave me a range of options to what I could do from the temporary to the definitive but he honestly told me what I would likely need in the future.
It seemed more important for him to establish a relationship with me as a customer and he knows I’ll be calling him in the future.

Of the plumbers we got quotes from, the were not only reasonably priced, but prompt, responsive, and clear in explaining the rationale between the work they do and don't recommend. Several other plumbers recommended more drastic work, but they respectfully disagreed and told us why. I respect that honesty and professionalism and would recommend them.
