we had issues with high water bills suspecting possible leak. started calling around several companies most of which were busy too answer and they were charging from $50-$200. then i called ACE, not only they came in the very next day, they did an excellent job and didnt charge me for their inspection and their estimate. Chosen Rooter will be my plumbing company for the foreseeable future. They were the FOURTH plumbing company that I had come to my house to fix a leaky pipe that was located in my kitchen ceiling. The three previous plumbers either charged me to tell me that I had a leak and then recommended I bring in a specialist (you mean, like a plumber?!), told me the job was too big, or tried to tell me that it would take hours to find the leak and during that time I'd be charged for diagnostics. Mind you, I had already stripped the lathe and plaster from my own ceiling and could point to the connectors that were leaking, so the last guy was just trying to stack some hours on the job. I called Chosen and told them that I had a job that needed fixing, and that I needed someone to come who wasnt going to jerk my around. They came and fixed it the next day. Hassle free, agreed upon price before work started, professional, and pleasant. I sincerely appreciated doing business with them and the service they provided.

Had a terrible experience of being over priced and told I had to pay $225 for an unsuccessful attempt at dislodging an object from the toilet. It was a five minute task that did not work. I said I’d pay for a house visit, but no way was i paying $225 for a “try at it” that yielded no results. He huffed off and told me that no one acts that way. It all felt disingenuous to me.
