They did a great job of installing new air conditioning and furnace but when we called twice for follow up service they never contacted us. We had to reach out to other company.

I had a water inlet valve replaced, i was given a quote for $400.00 thinking this will take several hours i said ok, it took .45 min. Thats $400.00 an hour that they still charged me and then still added $28.00 for taxes, who makes $400.00 per hour? This was probly a $200.00 job at best

Tim was flexible enough to take care of another small problem I hadn't mentioned when making the appointment, and he even made an extra improvement I hadn't thought to request. I was referred to Maplewood Plumbing by a friend--now I'll be referring others to them.

I've used these guys many times. Never an issue, pricing and repairs are honest. They don't upsell you to put in a new system, they repair what you have.

I bought an as-is house in University City last year, and reached out to Brooks Plumbing, as they are only a couple miles away. They were able to do everything I needed, including rip out cast iron stacks and about 20 feet of lateral, reseal toilets, install a tankless water heater, put in a new utility sink, and several other small items. For the huge scope of work, the price was very reasonable. They are quick to respond, always very nice, and happy to send someone by on a moment's notice to look at something since I live so closeby. This is a small, locally-owned business, so please check them out!

Service was provided within two days of reaching out for non-emergent water heater installation. I bought the water heater from Lowe’s so only paid labor and permitting, and they had the cheapest rate of companies I looked at. Work was done promptly and efficiently, with no snags related to either the plumbing or the billing.

I purchased a very expensive boiler (20k) last winter for them for our radiator heat.  They came to try to fix the old unit and said that our only option was a new one.  After some debate, we moved forward.  The installation itself was OK.  They left the basement door open for most of the time, and I had to ask them several times to close it because we were freezing.  I tried to ask them how it was going while they installed it, and they would barely respond.  Given the cost, I don't think this was unreasonable.  After the install, it stopped working completely after about 7 days.  I was pretty upset. They sent out a technician off hours who had no idea how to fix it. It turns out that the reason it stopped working was because the exhaust valve was installed incorrectly.  Apparently, it wasn't windy the day of the install, but there was more wind later on, so it needed to be installed differently.  Yikes. It works well now in terms of heating up the home.  I will say that the cost savings from this unit were not at all what they told us. The salesman made all sorts of claims about all the money we would save to run the unit.  All of that wasn't true.  It is cheaper to run our forced air units (although the radiator heat is much better; it heats evenly, there is no dust blowing around, etc.). We do love the radiator heat, but it isn't cheaper.  Maybe it is cheaper than a 50-year-old boiler, but he knew that wasn't our situation.  We weren't using the radiator heat at that time, which is why they were there in the first place.  All of this was really disappointing, but today, after switching back from Hoffman, I had someone out for a separate issue, and he was asking me about the unit.  Apparently, we could have gotten a similar unit and used it for our hot water as well.  He said it would have been another ~$1,000 (compared to getting a new $3000 water heater).  I remember the salesperson mentioning that as an option very briefly, and I expressed some interest.  I don't really know what happened in that particular part of the discussion after that, but at the very least I didn't understand the options, because it appears like it would have been a no-brainer based on what I am hearing today.  I have no idea what to believe on this particular issue, but it just added to my overall disappointment about the experience, which is why I am writing this review.

Unprofessional, rude, waste of money and time

We are currently in the process of trying to open up a Bar/Restaurant and plumbing was a major issue for us. After going through multiple headaches and mismanaged businesses, Python came in and handled all of our needs. We passed inspection with flying colors, communication was amazing, and I always felt like they were in control and I did not need to stress about any plumbing needs. They came out very quickly at first, but didn't have the correct equipment for the job. So Jacob said he would send out a person with a camera the next day. We never heard from them again. I had to call several times and constantly got the run-around. Finally they got a camera guy out who claimed that our sewer pipe collapsed. He said that in order to fix it, they would most definitely damage the water line so we'd need to replace that too. Outrageous. We called Hoffman Bros - they had someone out within the hour who had all the right equipment. Hoffman Bros confirmed that the pipe was NOT collapsed. They fixed the issue and for much less money. Won't be using Roto Rooter again.
