We had a pretty gross issue with our pipes belching up dirty water. We called up Fasco and from there, the process was easy. We set up an appointment, got a confirmation text and email on the day of the appointment and the plumber even called me saying he was finished with his prior job early and wanted to see if it was ok to show up.

The work he did was excellent, he was professional and friendly. He told me how to do regular maintenance to prevent these issues while he was fixing the issue. The problem hasn't returned and I'm really glad I called them. Thanks Fasco, would recommend you to any of my friends.

I called Schwartz when I didn't have hot water in my home and I was unable to lite the pilot of my water heater. They came quick for an emergency call, which I appreciated.

I'm giving two stars because I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Within seconds, the tech who came said I needed a new water heater. With the unit being 9 years old, I understood and was ready to replace it. However, I was quoted around $4,000 to have the work done, which seemed extremely high.

I ended up going with another service that cost $1,700 in total including the new water heater and service.

My main issue with Schwartz is that the reason my water was cold was because the main gas line was not operating, not that the unit failed. The tech went out to where the main gas line is, and instead of telling me that I simply needed to turn my gas on (my own first time homeowner mistake), he immediately gave me the large quote.

With what I know now, I'd expect for the gas supply to be the first thing a tech checks when working with a water heater. So either he did know and wanted to charge me for a new unit anyway when I didn't need it, or he didn't know and didn't do his due diligence.

On time and honest

We scheduled an appointment, called them at the last minute and added three more items to the list of repairs, they arrived on time took care of all my issues for absolutely reasonable cost. We are more than thrilled with everything, Highly recommend!

I contacted David's office the day before NYE requesting him to check for leaks as my water bill has gone up significantly. David came out the very next day (New Years) just to reassure me before the long weekend. His fee was more than reasonable and he was prompt and efficient. He also took the time to show me what he was seeing so I could have a better understanding. I will be referring David to anyone who is in need of a quality plumber who will not rip you off.

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

Our regular plumber could not come out to unblock a drain on a Sunday afternoon due to flu in the staff. We called Roto-Rooter in desperation., and it was. Over $350 with a coupon, for what took ~10 minutes. While I understand it is emergency services, I find them excessively gouging. They throw in a video of the drain, which i did not need, and used to be an extra. Now they add it to the price.i will avoid them unless desperate.

I had several repairs that needed done under my ahs warranty.
So I did not choose this company, the insurance company chose for me. I could not be more happy with the job the guys did, I had several additional repairs done
that I needed. I called around for estimates and they were reasonable AND did a great job. I had several questions they were able to help me with. Personable and knowledgeable. I will certainly being staying with Carolina Plumbing for any future needs.
