Do you know how hard it is to find good professional help when you move to a new state? Well, I can tell you it's not easy.

2005 Builder-installed 2nd floor system went out a few years ago. I had so many problems with the same brand on the first floor that I really wanted to have a Trane. The repair Company that I called did not sell Trane brand, so I called Cape Fear. Prompt, clean and otherwise excellent installation experience.
18 months ago I did not have a maintenance contract but they showed up within a couple of hours away for a first floor air-conditioning issue in the hot mid summer weather and quickly fixed it.
Since then I have had maintenance contracts and the fellas that come out put on cloth shoe covers like medical professionals when they come inside.
They are very knowledgeable when I have asked questions about the systems and they spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the systems every six months so that we are not caught off guard by a breakdown. (I think it’s in the neighborhood of 45 minutes to an hour on each system.)
Their technician James has been twice for maintenance Contract service and he is excellent! I can’t say enough good things about him!

Jason Liebig is professional and very thorough. He explained the findings in detail. He answered all of my questions and was very patient. He checked and researched every concern we shared with him. He shared the photos so we could see the before concerns and photos of the work he completed. Thank you Jason!

Wayne, tech #3112; came out to our apartment complex Meridian at Harrison Pointe and spent all day working on an issue we had here. He was very polite and helpful and came out very quick once they were called out to help us. He was clean while working and after as well. If we ever need their service again we will certainly give them a call first! Thank you Wayne for all your help and for being so kind.

Set an appointment for Tuesday. Behind. After several phone calls from Roto-Rooter they finally told us they would not come that day, but we would be a priority the next day. Same thing on Wednesday. Avoid.

I had a faulty electrical box causing half of my power to come on and off randomly. I called one company and had them come out to take a look into it. They gave me a quote for $1600 with an elaborate story on what needed to be fixed and what they had to do to fix it. I called Progressive for a second opinion and Brian came out and told me I just needed to change the box out. I was looking at a $225 repair and $100 to get a permit pulled. Brian fixed it in 3 hours with no issues and everything is working perfect.

Very courteous staff and professional. Sammy was excellent and I plan on requesting him for any jobs we may have in the future.

North Raleigh Plumbing installed a water heater for us on September 2022. The water heater is still under warranty for labor and parts, but when we called them to fix it, they said they did not have time to take this job. Absolutely the worst customer service and unprofessional attitude. BEWARE, they will not stand by their installation.
