Best Re Piping in Raleigh NC

I have used this service multiple times now and my experiences have been really excellent. They not only do great work, the take time to explain what needs to be done and the approximate cost. If you need a Plumber, I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Raleigh you will not be disappointed!

Matthew came out to fix, replace and repair both of my laundry room faucets pipes from leaking water. He looked at the problem, explained what needed to be done and the cost. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. Afterwards he test the water pipes to make sure everything worked, plus he cleaned up. On more than one occasion when I had a plumbing problem, TCR/Terry either came himself to see what the problem was, or promptly sent one of his awesome plumbing team to sort things out for me. They were prompt, courteous, well informed, and were willing to explain the work that they had done. They also cleaned up after the work they had done which was appreciated. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

We hired Midtown to complete an attic bathroom installation. Here is a list of the issues that we had with the work done.

1. The initial rough-in was not not vented properly and resulted in the need for re-inspection.
2. The shower was trimmed 2-3 inches too short on one side resulting in a gap that I still do not have a solution for (nor do any of the 3 competent contractors that have looked at it).
3. The sink was installed incorrectly and is not only tilted, but insecure. I will have to remove it myself and install it again using the method intended by the manufacturer.
4. One access panel was installed with space between it and the wall, simply because time was not taken to trim it to fit beside the pipe. I will have to remove all of the excess caulk and do it correctly.

The result of all of this is that there is significantly more work created for me and others that I will hire. I do not want Midtown back in my house because I do not trust that the job will be done correctly. In addition, my wife felt uncomfortable with them in the house based on the attitude of one employee.

Scott, the repair technician was professional, knowledgeable and fix the faucet issue. I’m happy with the outcome, good service, great technician.

I do not recommend this company to prospective customers. I contacted them b/c my 6-month-old water heater stopped working. Their $125 initial diagnostic fee is higher than most companies, but b/c they could see me sooner, I agreed to that. Diagnostic testing was limited to using a voltage meter which seemed not to be working properly. The technician then told me that they would replace the upper and lower thermostats for $400 b/c that is their company policy. But how do we know the thermostat is the problem, I asked. We don't, he told me, but if you get hot water then we know it was the problem. What about using Whirlpool parts since the unit is still covered under warranty? We don't do that, he told me, but maybe you can submit receipts to Whirlpool for reimbursement. Clearly this service call wasn't designed to be in MY best interests, so I ended the work and paid my $125 diagnostic fee (which should be called a Trip Fee). I get the fact that my type of service call isn't a big $$$ return for the company, but by being unscrupulous and wasting my time, you've lost a potential lifelong customer and alienated anyone who reads this review and decides to keep shopping.

I had a toilet and sink installed and Charlie F. did a fantastic job. He of course installed the equipment but also made sure that it all operated at maximum performance. Then he gave us an education on how to maintain peak performance. Service like that is so important and valuable when you are remodeling a bathroom. Our home was built before 1940 too so it was not an easy job due to different ways of building back then. But Charlie was a pro working with all the challenges.

Do not use this company it is full of a bunch of thief’s

I can't say enough about how happy I was with Edwin . He was prompt knowledgeable and best of all extremely Neat. we love our new water system it has made a world of a differance . Thankyou Edwin

Purchased new house in May 2018 and after moving in realized we had horrible water pressure in house and outside hose faucets. We contacted them and they sent plumber out to tell us it was because we had 3/4” meter from the city that was causing our problems. Called city and they checked the pressure with no issues on their side and all meters are 3/4” in island. Not to mention both our nieghbors have great pressure. So we called a plumber and he pointed out they ran 1/2” lines they the entire house which is why we have no water flow. Our outside faucets barely spray 6’ with sprayer nozzle. Needless to say neither SECOF or the plumber they hired Rural plumbing wanted to fix the problem. There only response was that it passed inspection.

We are very pleased with the work of Plumbing Giant and the plumber they sent to our home. He was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable in his approach. After inspecting our drain clearing issue, he was able to provide a solution quickly using only the equipment and spare part we needed.

Was not able to land a job with the company but was hired by a larger company one week later

The technician Andy made me very uncomfortable to the point i almost pulled my gun. In addition he was not prepared with tools or a proper tape measure. He pulled a wooden ruler out to measure my sink and took 30 min to do so.
I won’t be using them for this project.

I had an outside leak which caused my water bill to jump to $500. Richard came out right away to assess what needed to be done. The leak was found quickly and repaired for which I am very thankful. Great service at a great price.
