Chris was extremely helpful and professional with his services. He clearly answered all questions that I had and also advised me on things to look for once his work was completed if a revisit would potentially be needed. He was respectful of our space as my wife and I work from home and are on calls constantly. The time that it took to complete his services were within the time frame he initially advised. Chris also came in a tad less than the initial telephonic quote after assessing the work and my property which made for a great experience and I will trust him and this company solely going forward with my plumbing needs! My water heater was leaking & I looked on line & decided to give Golden Rule a call. Joseph responded quickly with a few questions & prompt ETA. I always do my research ahead of time & he answered all of my questions thoroughly Plumbing 101!!! The quote, the service, and the kindness shown to my dog during the process was beyond professional. We hired Midtown to complete an attic bathroom installation. Here is a list of the issues that we had with the work done.

1. The initial rough-in was not not vented properly and resulted in the need for re-inspection.
2. The shower was trimmed 2-3 inches too short on one side resulting in a gap that I still do not have a solution for (nor do any of the 3 competent contractors that have looked at it).
3. The sink was installed incorrectly and is not only tilted, but insecure. I will have to remove it myself and install it again using the method intended by the manufacturer.
4. One access panel was installed with space between it and the wall, simply because time was not taken to trim it to fit beside the pipe. I will have to remove all of the excess caulk and do it correctly.

The result of all of this is that there is significantly more work created for me and others that I will hire. I do not want Midtown back in my house because I do not trust that the job will be done correctly. In addition, my wife felt uncomfortable with them in the house based on the attitude of one employee.

I called the Art of Plumbing to get a quote replacing a kitchen faucet . I already having about half a dozen quote from $80- $150. for labors only.
this guy charging $250 , I asked him why $250 ...... buyer be aware.

He ensures you fully understand the costs and the scope covered. He is very respectful of the home, and is careful not to track mud, etc and to clean up as he goes. He is a true professional, and delivers high quality work. As a female home owner - I really appreciated his directness, and his extra steps to ensure I understood what was happening and why.

Called on Thursday and set up an appointment for the next week on Tuesday b/c we had no water. Discussed with PlumbV our location. Company called approximately 2 hours before the scheduled appointment to say we were out of their service area. They advertise that they serve areas ALL AROUND US including g areas that are further away than out town. We are in He Derain and they advertise they serve Oxford, Kitrell, Louisburg and areas well beyond Raleigh. So now I’m a week without water and again trying to find a plumber and waiting on another appointment. They have failed to return messages where I have tried to discuss this issue. Do NOT recommend if they do this to customers. PIOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

We have had a service contract with Newcomb for a number of years. For routine service of our AC last summer it took 2 months to schedule-summer was almost over. The technician who came was surly and made snide comments about the fact that I was not at work.
Today is Wednesday and we have been without heat since Saturday. We paid $149 for service to come on Saturday. They had to order the part. They are coming today but cannot give me a time window-will call 20-30 minutes ahead. They say the reason is that they have too many service calls to give me a time- Not to worry, after this they will have one less customer!

Andrew, the owner, called personally to set up a technician. He then sent me a photograph of the technician so we would know who to let in the house. This was professional, considerate and comforting, especially since my (grown) daughter was going to be at home alone with him.
Then Jake, the technician, arrived promptly. He was considerate of our home and pets. He was knowledgeable and went right to work fixing our problem. Your Service Pro is now our new plumber.
