Visited twice to purchase whole home water filter. I guess the job wasn't big enough, they promised they would respond two times and never did. I went with another company. Won't bother them again.
I have had a few minor issues and in a new construction home. As soon as I called Josh, he would send someone right out and they would take care of the issue. The plumbers are always very nice and professional. I highly recommend this company.
We worked with Barbour-Pourron Plumbing Services through our contractor Mangrum Building, so they were not directly hired by us for our home renovation project. In hindsight, I wish I would have gone about the hiring of our sub-contractors slightly different. Our home was renovated between 2018/2019 over a 10-month period. I acknowledge our project wasn't an easy one as we had a few higher-end plumbing fixtures installed. My review is based on not being a plumbing expert. From my experience I found Barbour-Pourron Plumbing Services to not be equipped to handle certain levels of projects, such as fixtures from Rohl or other higher-end manufacturers. For example, in our hallway bathroom the diverter was installed improperly causing the shower head to always flow water even when the push pull system was so that only the tub faucet should be running. When I called for a technician to come and fix it, he said they would need to break into the wall in order to fix the issue, which was incorrect. I only know this because I've since had to call an alternative plumber to fix the issue and they removed the plate where you turn the water on and easily replaced the diverter and fixed the issue. Another example would be in our master bathroom, the diverter for the freestanding tub was installed improperly, so the water pressure is so low that I have to bring water from the kitchen to fill my tub when I want to take a bath, which is often. They also didn't install the freestanding tub properly, making sure to work with the flooring team, to make sure the tub is secured into the subfloor. So, for example, if our two year old or I lean on the tub it moves very easily. I've had to have the tub reset because too much movement caused the tub drain to leak water as it loosened the connection. It would now cost upwards of $3-5k to have the tub properly secured into the subfloor.
There were other issues and challenges that I would normally chalk up to being associated with the construction process, but these issues have required me to look for a plumber I could trust to fix the things that weren't done properly the first time and have been an additional unexpected expense.
Thanks.

They were excellent. We had a hot water tank issue and they setup a time between 1 - 4. They called back and said they could have a tech there in 30 minutes. Tech came and had us up and running with in an hour. Great service.
I have been in my home close to two years and it was new construction my water heater went out. I called this company 3 times today 12/13 & left 3 voicemails for Candice. My last call to the company was at 1:15 then I turned around and called back and hit the billing department option to which I got Melissa she was very kind and helpful and she took all of my information down and was giving it to Candice however it is 7:30 p.m. tonight and I still have not received a call back from this company. All I need to know is if this water heater is under some type of warranty if not please let me know so I can find somebody to come and fix this or see what the problem is. This is poor customer service and I am really disheartening on how I am being treated. Someone should have called me back today.
Did a great job installing two toilets. Also recently provided advice on a water heater issue free of charge. Will be a return customer for sure.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Wish there was an option for 0 stars. My contractor building our house had Barbour & Pourron install my showers in our new build. Showers were installed in Jan 2019. Fast forward Aug. 2023 my shower floor is cracked in 2 places. Called talked to Candice, she first told me that they had never worked with my builder. When I gave her the address she said it was before she started working there and that my shower was under manufacture warranty. She would schedule to send a tech out the following Monday to take pics and start the warranty process. She called me 35 mins later and said that it only had a 2 year warranty. I called her back she gave the manufacture, I called the manufacture they told me that the shower has a lifetime warranty.

The plumber arrived on time, courteous, diagnosed the problem, and repaired the valve as stated. It was a great experience.
Very poor customer service. I was treated very rudely. We are new residents/new home. We found a leak under one of the bathroom faucets with the bottom of the cabinet swelled up. I called B&P and left a message for Josh who handles warranty. Because they don't have any live receptionists to take calls, I kept calling few times one after another because: 1) I have a very short work break and want to make sure I get someone on the line the same day (I have called in the past and they don't return phone calls promptly); 2) as someone who speaks English as a second language, I always prefer to talk in person as I can explain myself better rather than leaving messages via VM or email.
Josh answered my 3rd call very rudely. He belittled me, basically saying something in the line of - what's the big deal? You have a little leak and what - it's the end of the world. I asked him, Are you so rude and offensive to all your customers? He answered, yes, I am. At this point I hung up the phone, and called my builder asking them to handle the situation. Unfortunately, I have to work with B&P through my warranty but once that is over I will look for another plumbing company.
It is worth mentioning that we had plumbing issues from the start. Day 1 of moving in, in one of the bathrooms there was no cold water. I don't know what they had done, but there was only hot water (they did fix it). We also had an issue with the toilet on the upper floor as it was not flushing well. We were told that we have to hold the handle down for about 7 seconds when we flush it, that we can't just press the handle (so basically we don't know how to flush a toilet). But it seems to me that the actual toilet was a very cheap product. After all, we are not going through potty training and this is not the first toilet we use though I was made to feel as such.

If I could give less than 1 star, I absolutely would. Candis is non-responsive to phone calls or emails. There is a warranty issue at my newly built home and they refuse to fix the issue. Unless you have no other option (like a new build warranty issue) I recommend you look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.
