System put in by AirMakers about 7 years ago. The system was never registered with Carrier so when we purchased the house and when the indoor blower motor stopped working of course it wasn't under the 10 year Carrier warranty.
It was discovered that they put the wrong wires in for a 8KW heater which could have over heated the unit and caught on fire.

Luckly, through a recommendation we found someone who knew what they were doing.

I live in a new development, my house is not even two years old but I could tell something was wrong with the AC. I called Weather master because that is the number that was listed for us to call for AC/Heat issues. I was told for someone to come out it would be $99 but if the problem was over $200 the $99 would be waived. I agreed thinking since my house is not even two years old it shouldn’t be much over $200. I wasn’t able to get services the day I called they couldn’t see me until 4 days later. Juan was our technician he did have on a mask and booties which I did appreciate that part of the services. When he got here he noticed the evaporator coil was frozen solid and was unable to evaluate the issue until it thawed out which resulted in rescheduling. I was upset because it would have been nice to given a heads up to turn the system off at least a hour or so before he arrived. I rescheduled and that was three more days of discomfort. When the day finally came it seems like I was the last one on the schedule he didn’t arrive until after 5. He checked things out and said he believed it was an evaporator coil leak but would suggest we run a diagnostic test which would be an additional $200 and the $99 I already paid would not be waived for just running the diagnostic test that is only waived if the actual services are over $200. So now I’m $300 in and AC still is not fixed. After running the test it was determined the levels are low and there is a leak. Juan said we would need to replace the entire system which would be $1900. Literally the worst news he could have ever told me a new homeowner that I would have to pay $1900 to replace a system that is not even 2 years old! I still don’t understand what the parts warranty covers if I have to fork out $1900. I’ve tried reaching back out to the company for a second opinion and have been unable to get a response back. I feel like I’ve been robbed, $300 and the only solution was replace the almost brand new 3 ton evaporator coil and sign up for a maintenance agreement. Update8/16/2023: Still great service. Chris came out today because my AC wasn't cooling. Not happy to spend the $$, but he explained everything and gave me options. They've been working hard this week!Nick came out today for my regular service. He was very friendly, was careful with my crazy pets and did a wonderful job. Service was fantastic as always.Gage always does a great job. He explains everything clearly and is very careful around my property. Masked and bootied today!

Quick to reply and quick to come out an assess and fix our plumbing issue. Great customer service! Will use them again in the future.

Bolton’s service and expertise were excellent, and I have finally found someone who can work on my rather complex high efficiency HVAC system. The company that originally installed it (Newcomb) had made repeated repairs to the furnace each winter over the past few years, but never fixed the problem with the 3-speed fan ramping up to 100% too long and too often. Their last two technicians admitted to me they were not trained for that type of furnace after they spent about 6 of 7 charged hours in their truck making calls to their supervisor and waiting for him to return their calls to tell them what to try next. Curtis and Jerry found the problems, and it is working better than it has in years. All of their folks have been courteous and responsive.

We've relied on Newcomb and Co for decades now and have never had a bad experience.

We just moved to the Triangle and purchased a whole home catalytic carbon water filter and water softener for our new construction home. We were in need of a qualified plumber to install the system. On the first connection with the company, the president, David, called me to discuss the job. He spent a lot of time discussing the job, telling me about the company and listening to my needs. We received a very competitive estimate shortly after that. Other plumbers wanted two to three times more to perform the work. Kayla, the office manager, promptly sent a firm quote and got us on the schedule. Kayla was very responsive coordinating the work and a great representative of the company. NC Water Heaters sent out Jason, the water softener expert, to install my equipment. Jason was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. He did a great job. This was not their equipment and I appreciate their taking the time to install the equipment that I had purchased.

Rarely do you find a small business, especially a home improvement contractor, that runs as efficiently and effectively as NC Water Heaters. I will definitely consider them my new plumber and recommend them to everyone in the Triangle.

In a traffic jam on I-40, one of their service trucks flew past me and hundreds of other patient humans while driving at a reckless speed, traveling on the shoulder of the road and therefore inhibiting emergency vehicles from reaching the scene of the accident. Shameful.

I called Sonny's in a total jam. I had a water heater in an atic leak and ruined a ton of wall and flooring. I had been without hot water for 2 days. My original plumber choice flaked on me and I started dialing. I ran across Sonny and they literally made some time for the same day and handled the job with care and precision. We have a marble bathroom that he expertly protected. Totally professional, clean and honest! Rare find. Great job and thank you for the rescue!!!
