Eugene was one of 3 quotes I got for a sizeable job: replacing old black ABS drain lines with new pvc fittings. His was the most reasonable of the 3 quotes. He didn't try to upsell to expand the job or sell some kind of expensive service package. He was easy to work with to set a dates. Showed up when he said he would and completed the job in one day as he said he could. I own 5 rentals and will be using him again.

2005 Builder-installed 2nd floor system went out a few years ago. I had so many problems with the same brand on the first floor that I really wanted to have a Trane. The repair Company that I called did not sell Trane brand, so I called Cape Fear. Prompt, clean and otherwise excellent installation experience.
18 months ago I did not have a maintenance contract but they showed up within a couple of hours away for a first floor air-conditioning issue in the hot mid summer weather and quickly fixed it.
Since then I have had maintenance contracts and the fellas that come out put on cloth shoe covers like medical professionals when they come inside.
They are very knowledgeable when I have asked questions about the systems and they spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the systems every six months so that we are not caught off guard by a breakdown. (I think it’s in the neighborhood of 45 minutes to an hour on each system.)
Their technician James has been twice for maintenance Contract service and he is excellent! I can’t say enough good things about him!

However, I got in touch with Peaches Plumbing and they showed up to diagnose and fix the issue within 24 hours. They were prompt, professional, thorough and courteous. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Robert Allen did a diagnostic on my HVAC. He explained to me in layman’s terms what was wrong with my unit and gave me several options to find a solution. Although Air Experts is pricey (I was charged for both promo Service Call and diagnostic service,) Robert was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with his diagnostics.

We did a kitchen remodel & moved the dishwasher & sink. I called Poole's Plumbing mainly because I know the owner, but when the guys arrived at my house I was very impressed. The plumbers were very polite & did a great job reconnecting everything. Our bathrooms are our next remodel project & I will be calling them again.

We were having problems with our toilet leaking and it was impacting our water bill. Chris and Ray came out to fix it, calling to let us know they were on the way. They were both friendly, professional and very efficient. They identified and fixed the problem quickly and the cost was reasonable. Great to deal with, I will definitely use CK Plumbing & Backflow again, and will request Chris and Ray to do the work. Highly recommended.

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.
