I discovered Bell Cow because my home warranty sent them out to repair a leaking water heater. I was so pleased with their work, that I signed up for the maintenance plan for my water heater and for my HVAC system.

Dawson from Bell Cow came out to perform the maintenance on my 30+ year old HVAC system. He was very professional and prompt -- called me before he arrived on time. He was courteous and considerate (put on covers over his shoes to walk through the house). He's been able to keep an ancient HVAC system running as good as new.

We lost the ability to turn off the water in our master shower. My wife took an evening shower, and the internal handle mechanism failed. The gentleman who answered my call, at nearly 9:00 at night, verified the shower handle manufacturer by the picture I sent, told me he could pick up a part and head straight over. We are a bit remote, but he arrived by 10:00, affected the repairs quickly, efficiently, and professionally, and everything was in correct working order before 11:00 that night. When I apologized for bringing him out so far and so late, he told me not to worry about it, and that he was glad to help.

I had a capacitor go out in my outside unit. I knew it was a capacitor but was tied up with work and didn't have time to fix it myself so I called these guys. I called and they showed up the next day within the time-frame, however, it seems they price gouge. I was charged a service fee of $90.00 and hen $204.40 for the capacitor. He also put 2 pounds of R-22 in for $225. I was expecting the capacitor to maybe be $75 max (since you can get capacitors all day at home depot for $10 to $20).

I would call someone else and wouldn't recommend this company unless you like paying $$$.

Very timely response. John Gehringer did a great job of unclogging the bathtub drain as well as checking sinks and toilets to verify whether a single or multiple source issue. He was very polite and explained the equipment he used. This was my first time using Rooter & Sons and was able to schedule quickly. I will be calling on them for any future plumbing needs and readily recommend them.

Eddie came to the rescue on a SUNDAY when all the other places were closed. He came from Fayetteville to Raleigh and didn’t charge me an extra for a “after hours” or “weekend” fee. He fixed my shower valve in the wall (softball sized opening) without damaging any of the tile, sheet rock, or dry wall. I will use him again for sure! Thanks!

The team we had showed up late, sauntered through their work, lacked work ethic, ghosted us the one day which wasted our entire day as we waited for them to come during their appointment time, didn't call to let us know they would be delayed, and upon completion and payment we later found they didn't connect the washer drain line so it would have flooded had we not noticed. I would not recommend this team of technicians to even someone I didn't like!;) (I will not disclose their names on this public post, if Progressive contacts me to directly and asks for our team of technicians names then I will tell them. If I were Progressive, I would want to know how I was being represented by my employees.)
